Alexithymiaa: -Noah had wandered downstairss out of boredom only to find the Street Fighter machine, because it fucking is Street Fighter despite the graphics, to be unoccupied. Covet: Tae had gotten home from work, still all decked out in her work costume for the day. She walked in and made her way downstairs to leave Adam the thank you card she'd picked up for her brother to say thank you for helping them with their pledges for the zombie run. She didn't expect to see Noah there playing on the arcade system. "Oh hey, I didn't expect you to be down here. Is Adam in?" She asked as if Noah would even know.
Alexithymiaa: -Without taking his eyes off the screen because that might mean he would lose and that would be the worst possible scenario, he nodded in the direction of Adam's closed door. "I think so. I don't know, I thought I heard the dog."-
Covet: "Oh, um.. okay then." She said as she knocked on Adam's door, waiting to hear anything. "Hey Adam, is Tae, I have a question to ask you." She called out waiting patiently, glancing over at Noah who was clearly distracted.
Alexithymiaa: -Hearing the knock on the door, Adam set his book down and got up from his bed, walking over to open the door for her. "Hey Tae. What's up?" He asked, opening the door wider so she could step in if she wanted. Lady excitedly got up from the bed too, wagging her tail at Tae's arrival. // Noah finished his match, briefly watching the finishing sequence as he glanced over at Adam's door.-
Covet: "Not much I just got off work, and was wondering if you could do me a huge favor tomorrow, or whenever the next time you go to work is." Tae asked walking in, giving lady the appropriate pets as she came in. She looked around but then realized Adam had no seating. "You need a bean bag or something down here for company." Tae said as she sat down on the floor because one her heels were ridiculous and she needed to take them off.
Alexithymiaa: -He sheepishly looked around his room, giving a little shrug. "I know, I'm sorry. I don't really have anyone in my room and I usually just sit on my bed. I can clear off the trunk if you'd be more comfortable sitting there?" He offered, starting to walk to the trunk to pick up a stack of books from the top. "I'm working with him tomorrow. What did you need?" // As the next round started, Noah focused back on the game, but was listening in to Adam's room.-
Covet: "It's okay, I'm taking these off anyways." She told him as she went about unlacing her boots. " I was actually hoping you could bring him this."Tae said reaching over to hand it to Adam who was cleaning off the trunk, " Stop go sit down, but take this first." She said with a laugh, holding out the card in it's envelope. "It's just a thank you card for Eli, for the donation last week."
Alexithymiaa: -Adam set his books back down on top of the trunk and took the envelope from her, setting it down on top of his bag in the corner to take with him tomorrow. "That's sweet of you, I'll make sure he gets it. How did that run go, by the way?" He asked, moving over to the bed and picking up his LSATs study book again. // Noah kept his hand down, kind of absently playing his game at this point and completely eaavsdropping.-
Covet: "Really good. I had a good time. I ran for part of it." Tae said with a shrug, not going to mention that she didn't even make the first leg of the run before bitching out. "I think Eli would be proud," She said with a smile. "How's school going and all that?"
Alexithymiaa: "That's good to hear. I'm proud of you." He said with an easy smile, leaning back against his pillow and the wall as Lady went to sit next to Tae. "School is good. I'm just trying to study for the LSATs so I can get accepted into a Law program." // Losing his fight, Noah dropped his hands from the arcade game, leaning in closer to listen.-
Covet: "Oh yeah? That's good right?" Tae asked. "How many more years do you still have for all this law stuff?" She asked him sliding her boots off with a slight pleased groan, "Oh that is so much better. I can feel my toes again."
Alexithymiaa: "Yeah, that's good." Adam said with a laugh. "I've got the rest of this year, and then four years of law school. So I'm almost about halfway through my total schooling. And then I have to pass the Bar." He looked down at her feet, frowning. "Do you want me to get you some ice for your feet?"-
Covet: "Only halfway? Wow... that's insane. No wonder Lawyers are assholes, they've totally paid the time and money for it." Tae said then looked at her feet then at Adam, "Oh, uh.. Sure if you think it will help." Tae said with a polite smile.
Alexithymiaa: "Well I'm hoping to maybe help fight that stigma." He said with a laugh, pushing up from the bed. "I think it will help. I'll be right back." He said to her, walking to his doorway and stopping on the other side when he saw Noah very obviously eavesdropping. "What are you doing?" // Noah stood up straight, shoving his hands down awkwardly into his pockets. "What? Nothing."-
Covet: "You're definitely a good one, don't let them corrupt you though. The next four years could do that." Tae said to Adam. "Thank you, I appreciate it." She said then looked past Adam to see Noah, "Nothing... you liar. You could have knocked and joined us if you wanted to know what we were talking about."
Alexithymiaa: -Adam kind of just stood there staring at Noah because he was obviously full of shit. "You're welcome to have a seat if you want..." Even though he didnt like Noah and didnt actually want to invite him in. // Noah furrowed his brows, looking into the room and then back to Adam. "I don't want to. I don't want to be in your boring room. Why would I want to come in?"-
Covet: "Because you're out there all by yourself, and we're in here having a good time." Tae stated with a shrug from her spot on the floor.
Alexithymiaa: "It was just an invitation..." Adam mumored, walking by him to head upstairs aand get some ice. // Noah waited until Adam made it all the way up the stairs before walking to the doorway to staare at Tae. "So what, you guys are like best friends now?"-
Covet: "No, he's just a good friend of my brother's. Like my own brother." Tae said rolling her eyes. "Why are you all of a sudden concerned?"
Alexithymiaa: "I'm not concerned, he's just aannoying." Noah retorted, crossing his arms over his chest and staring at her. "I don't know why you would want to hangout with him when he's such a dweeb."-
Covet: "Because he nice?" Tae said with a shrug. "And he likes a lot of the same dweeb stuff I do. Is that really a problem?"

You actually have friends and stuff." // Adam came back down the stairs with Tae's ice in hand, stopping behind Noah to hear him say mean things before clearing his throat. "I brought you ice for your feet..." He said, slipping by Noah to pass it to Tae.-
Covet: "He has friends too, and he's pretty cool." Tae said looking at Noah, "You don't have to be rude, just because I'm giving him attention instead of you." She told him, having noticed Adam walk up from her spot on the floor. "Stop calling my friend a loser, He's going to be a lawyer, which means he could save your ass if you get into legal trouble, OR, he could send your ass to prison by crushing you in court."
Alexithymiaa: -Noah watched Adam walk in with the ice for Tae, letting out a huff at her rebutle. "I don't want or need your attention." He said like a pouty child, turning away from them to lean against the wall. He knew he was losing this one. // "I need to actually take Lady out so..." Adam trailed off, whistling for Lady and stepping out of his room with the dog on his heels. Waalking to the back door, he opened it to let her run out ahead of him, making his way into the backyard himself.-
Covet: "Okay..." Tae said rolling her eyes she got up and gathered her boots and the ice and walked in a strange hobbled gait, following Adam, because she felt bad that he had to hear that. As she walked past Noah, she shook her head, "What is wrong with you? Hey Adam, wait up.. I'm sorry... I don't know why he's always such a jerk."
Alexithymiaa: "Oh my god, really?" Noah said with a scoff, rolling his eyes at Tae as she went after Adam. // Adam watched Lady race across the backyard, walking to the little bin he kept outside filled with her toys and reaching in to grab a tennis ball. "It's fine, it really doesn't bother me. He likes you and he's insecure about himself. I don't take it personally. He would be a jerk regardless of who you were conversing with."-
Covet: "So basically he feels threatened? But I don't get why? It's not like I'm interested in you like that, so why does he have to turn into some jerkfaced peacock." Tae said with a frown.
Alexithymiaa: -Adam shrugged his shoulders, pulling his arm back and throwing the ball clear across the yard, sending the dog bounding after it. "Some people are just like that, i guess. I don't really know. I'd say you could try talking to him about it, but I think that'll just make more problems for y'all."-
Covet: "Eh.. he's not really the talking type. Not about feelings at least. Very typical cisgender alpha male, as Bliss would probably point out." Tae said with a laugh. " Well I'm still sorry he said that kind of stuff to you. It wasn't nice or called for."
Alexithymiaa: -Adam started to laugh at the Bliss remark, nodding his head. "She probably would say that, but it really doesn't bother me. If anything, I take it as a compliment. If someone who's for all intents and purposes considered a meathead thinks I'm a loser, then that's probably a good thing for me."-
Covet: Tae stuck out her tongue. "But it's just so cliche and unattractive. Drew used to do that stuff too. He hated it when I would hang out with you and Hayley."
Alexithymiaa: "Sounds like a personal problem. Maybe if he knew you were comparing him to Drew, he'd cut it out a little and realize he's being stupid." He said, leaning over to take the ball from Lady when she brought it back only to throw it again.-
Covet: "Maybe....I just don't like using that kind of card....but maybe.." Tae said. "Thank you again for the ice and conversation. Oh, and the card! I think I'm going to go back inside and see if he's off pouting somewhere."
Alexithymiaa: "No problem. That's what friends are for, right? And if you ever need anyone to talk to, you know I'm always here for you." He sent her a smile. // Noah had since gone up to his room to indeed pout and watch tv.-
Covet: "Thanks Adam, I appreicate it. You're a great guy. " She said then made her way upstairs, via the porch and balcony intentionally walking past his door to see what he was doing before she made her way into her room to go get changed, not wanting to entertain him because he was mean to her friend. petty salty bitch.
