SGDQ 2016

SGDQ was amazing.

I actually watched less runs than usual this time around, instead opting to hang out with tons of people. I made so many new and wonderful friends, have gained a confidence in myself that has been absent for two years, and this just reminds me why I love doing what I do.  This is honestly an experience like no other.  The Red race was fantastic, and I couldn't have asked for a better ending; it so accurately summed up my feelings and attitude towards my friends.  Agreeing to finish at the same time as someone I consider one of my best friends was incredible.

So what do I do from here?

I have a lot on my speedplate. I am probably done with Red for a long time.  While I am not satisfied with my time, my place as one of the game's best is pleasing enough.  I'm going to learn a few new games/categories, mostly Pokemon but still.  I want to learn HeartGold Any%, easily the BEST category in Pokemon IMO.  I also have some promises to fulfill; I need to learn Emerald and to relearn Sapphire.  ExarionU and I are also, foolishly, going to learn SMS.  We'll see how long that takes until I hate myself, haha.

I will also do my usual weekly races with Altabiscuit, I will do my randomizer bingos with Medicean, and hopefully Gunner, Sprinkles and I get into some 4-pack race shenanigans.  My stream will overall be FUN and FAST.
