  1. Coming back for one last time as a throwaway but let me clarify on some Black Ops 4 Zombies bits and adding in a bit of a previous entry. Once again and for the last time being a throwaway, here's some clarifications:
  2.
  3. - Alpha Omega were going to be free, this was actually in the CallOfNobodyCares leak but no one really understood it. In Treyarch's internal scheduling, there was going to be 1 Zombies map every Operation, 12 Operations total, 6 per Season (Two Seasons). The scheduling was 2 Chaos, 2 Aether, 2 Chaos, etc. as can be seen from the map selection screen.
  4.
  5. - There simply isn't enough slots in the two Black Ops Passes for how many maps were confirmed to be in development. Additionally, you can actually find zm_nuked (AO) in the BO4 Multiplayer files. Alpha Omega was in development since 2018 and in no world would they wait to release it in 2020.
  6.
  7. - And of course, the Great War was real, the scripting for it is in the BO4 PS4 version of the game with some textures leftover in the PC build. Otherwise the game would've ended on DLC 3 Buried which makes no sense. All of these were planned but they were subject to change due to the Cold War takeover and Black Ops 4's turbulent reception.
  8.
  9. - Regarding why Chaos has new maps and Aether having remakes, let me explain this in a perceptive from a business, developer, and story standpoint:
  10.
  11. * Chaos was Treyarch's way of wanting to implement and flesh out their map ideas they wanted to do, whether it's revisiting old or new ideas, Chaos existed because they wanted to go wild and explore fresh ideas with a planned concluding to end the Chaos Story.
  12.
  13. * Aether was always meant to end on remakes/reimaginings (or to simply put, a "Zombies Chronicles 2") because Treyarch hit a crossroads that creating new Aether maps breaks in story gaps and would drag the story further down the line, which would be hard to close of storyline threads of the Aether Story. Aether Remakes/Reimaginings was Treyarch’s way to properly close Aether off because the story has been going for 10 years and they wanted to close the books for Aether so they can branch out with a new story.
  14.
  15. * Bare in mind that Five, Call of the Dead, Mob of the Dead, and the Victis maps were skipped in Chronicles as once again, getting the Celebs/VAs to get their estates and likeness are not that easy, as they're expensive and not cheap. So if Treyarch wanted to do a proper Chronicles 2, they have to pay their loyalties and licenses if they do negotiations with the VAs to repay their lines (this was before George Romeo's passing in 2017, so it was less likely to have Call of the Dead get the Chronicles Remaster Treatment). They were turned into reimagining from the start to close the Aether story as a whole to begin with.
  16.
  17. * Bare in mind, regarding celebs and voice actors, Dead of the Night was originally meant to be a launch map with Voyage and IX being DLC 1 but were ultimately swapped (DOTN being DLC 1 and IX as the Launch map) because Treyarch couldn't get the Dead of the Night VAs in time to record their lines for the characters, consider that DOTD IS a prequel map to Chaos.
  18.
  19. * To put for Aether remakes of closing off their stories: Blood of the Dead, Classified, Alpha Omega, and Tag der Toten has many story threads that were closed to wrap up what's left to go from their previous endeavors (Yuri's fate, & Cornelius Pernell becoming Avagadro in Alpha Omega, many Classified lore nods, Richtofen experimenting on Ultimis and the Origins of the Pack-a-Punch machine's creation in Tag der Toten, Blood of the Dead's lore wrapping up Mob's lose ends, etc.)
  20.
  21. * Now for in my opinion, if the Victics remakes were released, they would've closed off their stories too (let's say for example, the Jeb Brown audios were actually meant to be on the Buried remake that was reshuffled into Tag. For Tranzit, it would've closed off the stories of the survivors of Maxis' Followers & The Flesh, along with George Barkly's fate, the origins of Green Run with it's locations, the Denizens, etc.)
  22.
  23. * Everyone was being extremely mad and threw heavy bad mouth at Chaos because they were moaning and begging about Aether returning and calling Chaos Story garbage, given that Chaos was supposed to be good but had a rocky start and it good with Ancient Evil, but when Alpha Omega was revealed, everyone was complaining about why Aether hasn't gotten a 'brand new map' since Gorod. Aether was always meant to end off with remakes/reimagining's (again, a Zombies Chronicles 2). That way, Aether can close up it's loose ends to properly complete the entire story in a grand finale high now. But, these were subject to changes, as plans do constantly change overtime.
  24.
  25. - The "Rev ;cypher' confirms that Tag was always the planned ending for Black Ops 4 Zombies" is complete bullcrap. They didn't only start making Aether stuff in mid-late 2017 when Chaos Story was in it's development hayday.
  26.
  27. - Regarding Alpha Omega and Tag 2D cutscenes, Alpha Omega's intro cutscene wouldn't even work in 3D, it's just a compilation of characters looking around, clearly not intended originally. I know many complained about the 2D Cutscenes in Alpha and Tag, but this is like Der Eisendrache's Intro cutscene when you consider Alpha Omega being DLC 1 for Aether.
  28.
  29. - And keep in mind that not only Treyarch's Cold War takeover had to happen due to Sledgehammer and Raven having a fallout for their Cold War game, that got their BO4 Year 2 + Second Black Ops Pass scrapped, but everyone was complaining about the Black Ops 4 Zombies as a whole.
  30.
  31. * From the buggy broken launch, the change of mechanics of the Perk System to the 'Start with a Shotgun/SMG with a Specialist". Everyone, across YouTubers and Fans, with the messy development cycle behind the scenes of Black Ops 4 (which, I strongly recommend to read as it was written by VG and insider journalist, Jason Schreier - https://kotaku.com/the-human-cost-of-call-of-duty-black-ops-4-1835859016) is what doomed and killed Black Ops 4 (and Zombies) to begin with.
  32.
  33. - That's why the game didn't get a Year 2 due to these negative outcomes that got this game to be a scapegoat mess. Nowadays, some players do find a fondness or guilty pleasure for Black Ops 4, whether they revisited the game and having after thoughts that they were a bit too harsh or they just felt this isn't their Black Ops game.
  34.
  35. Now to end this off, I'm just gonna say that we could've have gotten this Year 2 content if it wasn't a unfortune of events that plagued Black Ops 4 as a whole. You can tell that a lot of people don't like Black Ops 4 at all. So end of the story for now. As a throwaway, this is the last time I wanna get this out there for now.
  36.
  37. And by the way, you do know that Zombies Chronicles was actually supposed to be on Black Ops 2 Zombies instead of Black Ops 3, consider that "The Giant" was apparently a Black Ops 2 map that was meant to appear in a cancelled BO2 DLC 5, Proto-Chronicles for clarification sake, before it was pushed back into Black Ops 3 Zombies. That's what I wanna throw out there if you didn't realize that.
  38.
  39. Enough said, this should be it for now...
