Batman, ably assisted as always by Alfred, saves Robin from being crushed by a winch at the Tower of Londinium. He also rescues Batgirl from the dungeon at Ffogg Place. But Robin gets stung by an African Death Bee as Lord Ffogg and Lady Peasoup get ready to steal the crown jewels at the Bloody Tower.
The end of this clunky three-parter set in London.<br/><br/>The budget for this episode looks so low as the 25 minutes keeps jumping from the cheap Bloody Tower set to the big gate outside the house. Only for hard core 1966 Batman fans (like me) as it is just all over the place with unfunny villains clowning around all the time.<br/><br/>To me atleast, it is worth watching for all the bits with Robin and the cute women together. I also like the memorable part where Batman almost finds the true identity of Batgirl. Nice to see Catwoman (Eartha Kitt) make a tiny appearance at the end. But that is it basically.<br/><br/>This three-parter should have been a two-parter or maybe even a single 25 minute adventure. Things pick up next week.
Why they thought to make this a 3-episode arc is beyond me or likely anyone. let&#39;s face facts: this series is/was best when Batman faced Joker, Riddler, Penguin and Catwoman, his traditional enemies. otherwise, the episodes suffer, albeit as a loyalist I watch. But 3 parts for this &quot;Londinium&#39; escapade? Ridiculous. Pretty much garbage.
