  1. Jump #261: Sburb
  2. >Six of Wands (Victory): A sense of honor and satisfaction at the resolution of an important matter. Triumph after great struggle.
  3. This is exactly the kind of card one needs when in a jump like this.
  4. >Age: 11
  5. >Location: High-Rise Apartment
  6. >Identity: Harley/English
  7. >Role: Sylph of Space
  8. >Drawbacks: Pumpkin Party in Sea Hitler's Water Apocalypse (+200), Fight The Denizen (+600)
  9. A largely depopulated world, and I am one of very few humans left alive in it. Well, I feel less guilty about destroying it now. As far as fighting the Denizen... well, it's nice to be honored with more than 20% of its maximum power. I'll return the favor, believe me.
  10. >Ectobiologist (1400)
  11. I am pretty sure that ectobiology is the frilly hat on top of the bullshit genetic manipulation I've obtained thus far. --wait what do you mean I have to create all of us. Damn time loops.
  12. >Dream Jumper (Free, English)
  13. Without change, something sleeps inside us, and seldom awakens. The sleeper must awaken.
  14. >Alchemization (1200, English)
  15. With all the insanity one can get into by creating items through fiat, I'm absolutely in favor.
  16. >A Taste For Adventure (900, English)
  17. >God Tier (500)
  18. Go big or go home. ...or go big AND go home. No, I'd rather hold off on that, it's too early to end the chain and I'll pay points for that.
  19. >Soundtrack / Theme Song (450)
  20. More tracks for my sounds. By now I'm assembling an amusing discography.
  21. >Alchemy Machines (350)
  22. The grind up to where I need to be is a very annoying thing. I would rather skip that. Yes, that too is worth spending points on.
  23. >Symbol Shirt (Free)
  24. >Chunk Of Uranium (Free)
  25. I have absolutely no idea what to do with this. I may use it to prototype my sprite, just to see what happens. (Spoilers: nothing good ever happens when you use uranium for such purposes.)
  26. >Eclectic Bass (Free)
  27. Well, this gives me something to do in my downtime.
  28. >Veil Ectobiology Lab (200, Ectobiologist)
  29. Having a properly equipped laboratory will be a very useful thing indeed.
  30. >Multiplayer (0)
  31. Eight companions imported! And the twin pinkettes will be twins here as well, to no one's great surprise.
  32.
  33. Most important note: everyone I imported gets Dream Jumper. The rest varies after that point, but that's the most crucial one. This way, before everyone awakens, everyone knows each other by way of socializing on Derse or Prospit. Louise and Elodie, who end up as twins (as usual) thanks to having an odd number of players, get grimdarkness among other amusements. Ceci, despite being from 40k, does NOT get that; instead, CC gets You Can't Keep Down The Clown because frankly it's more fitting. The next time she goes 'everywahn eez hereteec' and she gets caught in the backlash she's going to bleed BUCKETS and still be able to walk away. ... which, come to think of it, just increases how many buckets she has, doesn't it?
  34.
  35. Anyway.
  36.
  37. You know what, there is a hell of a lot of things that happened here. There wasn't an overarching plot to screw us over. Carbon was the Page of Time and got Vision Twofold, but having a clone of me who has that in addition to the various precog abilities I have... well, look, I'm basically a late-game jumper in a mid-game jumper's body.
  38.
  39. With the ability to merge with others.
  40.
  41. Like, five others.
  42.
  43. So you tell me, when everyone has gotten to a point where they feel that it's time to get down to brass tacks, and suddenly you have an amalgamated Sylph-Page-Seer-Heir-Mage-Witch of Space-Time-Life-Breath-Heart-Mind... exactly what's left to write about that's interesting?
  44.
  45. To be honest I kind of regret combining with the others, no matter how briefly. It's like playing Super Mario 3 through to world 8 with no warp whistles, and then flipping a switch and somehow dropping a castle on Bowser. It's hilarious, it's kind of neat, but... it's not really as SATISFYING as it could be, I suppose, no matter how good the Good End turns out to be.
  46.
  47. Oh well. Objective achieved, new universe brought into being.
  48.
  49. Let's keep going.
