-Mikoto and Kuroko fight Awaki
-Awaki runs away and Kuroko chases after her
-Kuroko finds Maika, Maika joins the party
-Kuroko takes her back to Mikoto and all three go back to where Gunha is
-Mikoto gets angry that "that guy" left while she was gone and asks Gunha which way they went
-Gunha accidentally tells her the wrong direction and they set off that way
-They cross a desert and arrive at a village near an oasis
-Village is terrorised by the presence of a giant sandworm and they ask you to defeat it
-Go further into the desert and defeat the sandworm
-Come back to the village
-After the quest is completed the group sees Kakine in the distance, flying with his dark matter towards the tower
-They follow the direction he was flying, out of the desert and come to a town with a port
-They hire a ship to take them across the sea
-While they're on the boat they see the first and second explosion of the tower, and it being covered in Dark Matter
-They then have to fight a sea monster boss
