Until I Meet My Husband (Essay Part)

['I'm staying at my parent's house'

I responded to Takuma's email with a 'Okay' and returned home....

-----(Skipped some unnecessary dialogue)-----

 I turned on the bathroom light and screamed. A man was on what should be an empty bathroom and toilet. It took me a few seconds to realize it was Takuma, but not before I was crouched up in a ball. I had to regain my composure.

"What are you doing?"

"A test?"

"A what?"

"A test to see if you bring home a man while I'm not here."

"Did I pass the test?"

"Mhm, you passed."

Takuma didn't even try to reach out to me as he stood up. The anger that I've held back rushed out of me.

I put power into my waist and finally stood up, lunging at Takuma and hit his face and body while shouting at him. "What's! (Slap) The point of passing!  (Bang) Cut it! (Slap) Out! (Slap) You damn bastard! (Slaaapp)"

Takuma didn't move as I hit him. I couldn't stop my anger. Why can't Takuma understand how I feel?

"You! (Slap) Had a! (Slap) Wedding! (Bang) Ceremony! (Slap) Don't you! (Slap) Understand how! (Slap) Everyone feels?! (Slaapp)"

The last slap hit Takuma neck to chin. Then he stood up and punched me in the shoulder. I didn't realize he would hit me, but he did, and it hurt like hell. Well, of course, it did. He is twice my size. In a fistfight, he would knock me dead.

I ran to the front door and grabbed onto the laces of basketball ball shoes. I swung them around, gaining momentum before I flung them at Takuma, who was chasing after me. It hit his mouth, causing a cut where blood dripped out. He wiped it off with his hand before saying, "It hurts...". I thought at that moment, "Crap, he's going to kill me."]

[I thought I would end up taking up a Senior's offer to spend the night, but when I thought of Takuma being all alone, I felt sorry and worried. I borrowed a pair of sandals and turned him. When I arrived, I saw Takuma on the bed with a sad look. When I saw that my heart ached.

"I'm sorry," Takuma apologized first.

"I'm sorry as well...Your mouth, is it okay?"

"It's just a small cut. It's fine now."

"It's just a bruise on my shoulder too."

"Really. I'm sorry." We hugged each other, convincing me that we really did love each other. But, I think how we lived our lives together would be rather clumsy.]
