  18. "You know, I'm beginning to sense a pattern here."
  19. >"So you aren't a complete dullard after all! I'm surprised."
  20. "Thank you for the vote of confidence, Demona."
  21. >"You're welcome."
  22. "I get power... and then I get limited. I overreach, somehow, and then I get punished."
  23. >"To be fair, you were trying to survive what looked to be a Wrath Elemental. Violence just made him angrier."
  24. "I'm lucky that him trying to murder me empowered me enough to survive, even if I couldn't hold a candle to that rage."
  25. >"So now what?"
  26. "Now? Apparently we're in Japan. You want to know what's hilarious? I know I've been here before. I know that is a train. And yet... I have absolutely NO idea how to do anything relating to it."
  27. >"You what."
  28. "It would let me get from Tokyo to Kyoto. And I have no idea HOW. I mean, am I supposed to ride on top of it?"
  29. >"Are you actually serious right now?"
  30. "Unfortunately."
  31.
  32. And then I got roped into the insanity that is the various plot(s) of Ah My Goddess. I mean... at least I know how to use their theotech, but whatever went wrong when I arrived, modern day technologies seem... well, archaic is too restrictive a term. If a person went back to ancient Rome without any chance to study anything, they wouldn't have the faintest clue what to do. I'm lucky that Demona was feeling generous and helped me fake it.
  33.
  34. When she wasn't being some kind of big-shot First Class Earth Spirit. Because apparently that was a thing.
  35.
  36. Morgan LeFay was not pleased by this, but at least she wasn't the only of her kind in that class anymore. Having peers was apparently a nice thing, even if she still elected to stick behind at the Judgement Gate in the end.
  37.
  38. Also, seriously, I've seen some weird wars with weirder peace treaties, but THAT solution takes the cake.
