Spades started her life in poverty and little to no family. She ran with gangs until getting arrested and pressured to join the military. It was a good fit and she excelled in combat. Her accomplishments had her transferred to an elite squadron dedicated to preserving peace in the known worlds and exploring possible new habitable planets. She found herself new experiences, new life, new scars and even love. After all the exploring and all the warfare, she settled down with a fellow member of her team and got married soon after.
<P>
Life was getting good. She found a new joy and form of peace through her son and daughter. She still did some off-world work as a military trainer and security. Her husband had become a PI that got himself too deeply involved with a mega-corporation. His constant intruding led to the corporation retaliating. They tried to attack Spades while she was off-world while simultaneously deplying a unit to destroy their home. Spades survived the ambush and tried to rush home to safe her children. She was too late. Her house burned and her children lay dead inside. Spades blamed her husband for everything and left him.. but was not finished with the mega-corporation. Her husband tried to lawful approach to bringing down the corrupt business. Spades used violence.
<P>
After many explosive and bloody battles, she stood over the corpses of her children's murderes. Her honor was gone. She continued on her path of destruction and took on the role of bounty hunter, mercenary and pirate.

<P><b>Ocular Filter -</b> A processor placed in the occipital lobe. It acts much like a computer, allowing her to zoom in on certain targets, see in different image fields and access information.

<b>Mustang Arms Diamondback .357 Heavy Pistol -</b> Taken from the men who killed her family. Extremely accurate with a good amount of kick. This weapon is aways at her side.
<br><b>Militech Raider CS-36 Combat Shotgun -</b> Semiautomatic shotgun used mostly by the military and police forces. 25 round drum for maximum destruction.
<br><b>Armalite "Vortex" Light Assault Rifle -</b> An assault rifle that can withstand just about any environment.

The thrusters also come in handy for long distance leaps and very short flight-times. The armor was 'requisitioned' from a now leveled military complex.

<u>Abilities</u>
<P>
<b>Heavy Bone, Skin and Muscle Weaving -</b> With the use of synthetic fibers, Spades is able to endure more than normal humans. Her bones are harder to break, her skin harder to penetrate and her muscles do not tire as quickly. It also allows a faster healing process.
<P>
<b>Drug Addict - </b> This is as much of an ability as it is a curse. Spades tends to get doped up quite often. During times of conflict, she may inject herself with combat stimulators. Her armor allows direct flow right into her veins when needed.
