According to our intelligence enemy is preparing short-range SS-1 Scud-missiles on russian occupied Thirsk for a strike against a yet to be identified target.
This leaves us with only one option: make a pre-emptive strike and stop those missiles, before they reach their destination in Hirvenpää.

We have secured the old airfield of Ilmarinen including the island surrounding it, a stone's throw away from Hirvenpää military base.
We are on standby on the island and ready to strike.

OPFOR BRIIFFI

According to our intelligence enemy has started arming the old airfield of Ilmarinen. This act is to be taken as an aggressive action against our nation's security.
We have to make a pre-emptive strike and stop the americans, before they carry out their plan.

For this mission we have two R-300 Elbrus short-range ballistic missiles, which are to be carried to Hirvenpää military base for the strike.
Although we have two missiles, calculations show that even one missile is enough to neutralize the enemy.
Hereby it is not necessary to bring both missiles to base.

(*R-300 Elbrus is soviet term for Scud missile)

Taskin selostus:

Missiles are coming to Hirvenpää from two different locations: Sudenpesä military base and Thirsk.
Intelligence believes the trucks carrying the missiles are out of fuel for now. It will take a while to refuel them for the trip.

Destroy both SCUD-missiles before they are launched from Hirvenpää.
We will soon receive reinforcements from a nearby aircraft carrier, so delaying the enemy may also be viable.

Taskin selostus:

Transport the missile trucks to Hirvenpää and launch a missile. You can decide whether you bring one or both missiles for launch.
Note that the vehicles are out of fuel, so the first task is to bring a refuel truck and refill the vehicles.

There are several refuel trucks on Thirsk and they have been marked on the map.

Remember the schedule! The enemy is about to receive reinforcements from a nearby aircraft carrier. Being too slow may lead to a catastrophic failure.
Get ready in the given amount of time, or the missions fails.

Weather and environment

Forecast predicts a blizzard, so take the weather into account when making plans.
Due to blizzard the old airfield of Ilmarinen wont be visible, which makes surveillance a hell of a lot harder.

Snowdrifts cause vehicles to move very slowly on terrain, so shortcuts are pretty useless. Stick to the roads.
