I'm a British citizen, politically unaffiliated and am an independent investigative journalist.

During the past 15 months I've been working with others (digital forensics experts, intelligence veterans, analysts, etc) to analyse and understand the "Guccifer 2.0" operation (a persona invented to undermine WikiLeaks and fabricate evidence to support certain technical aspects of the "RussiaGate" narrative).

I am writing to you along with all other members of parliament (manually sending to each of you individually) because of a series of lies we have all been told and grave concern I have for somebody accused of various serious crimes that they are not guilty of.

The reason for this communication is in relation to the persecution of a man who has been the victim of smear campaigns that have accused him of being a rapist, of being a paedophile and of aiding Putin to "destroy democracy in America".

Julian Assange is guilty of none of the above.  The intent of this communication is to explain why these claims are false, what the mainstream press routinely omits from their reporting and to demonstrate that each one was a smear campaign intended to diminish any empathy we

would have for him so that we wouldn't react to the abusive treatment he's received and so that we will consent to him being extradited when, really, he should have been freed a long time ago.

Our government has disregarded diplomatic status and has had multiple UN WGAD (Working Group on Arbitrary Detention) rulings determine we are unlawfully detaining Assange.  We have seen millions of pounds of taxpayers' revenues burned on a 24/7 police presence that, with the

circumstances we're left with since the European Arrest Warrant was dropped, only make sense to retain if there are commitments that the government has made but hasn't disclosed publicly.  It would be difficult to justify sustaining the presence solely for a bail skipping warrant relating to an EAW (European Arrest Warrant) that has been withdrawn.

With negotiations said to be taking place between Ecuador and the UK relating to Assange and with an effort by some in the media to smear him further while he's not even able to respond, it is now vital I reach out and make sure you are all aware of some key facts:



SWEDEN & THE RAPE ALLEGATION

AA (accuser) posted to Twitter following the morning of the alleged incident explaining that she'd had a great night with amazing people.

She allowed Assange to stay with her for a further 5-6 nights after the alleged incident.

She later learned that Assange was getting close to another woman (SW) days later.

AA's allegations surfaced soon after this and she deleted what she had posted about the enjoyable experience she'd had.

Her complaint originally claimed molestation, sex without consent and more.

However, there was no evidence. She also accused Assange of deliberately breaking a condom.

AA presented a torn condom as evidence, it was analysed (by 2 labs) and found to be absent of Assange's DNA.

On 21 August 2010 the Chief Prosecutor Eva Finne stated she "made the assessment that the evidence did not disclose any offense of rape". On 25 August 2010 she stated that "The conduct alleged by SW disclosed no crime at all and that file (K246314-10) would be closed." The case was then closed.

The matter was then re-opened with a different prosecutor after the intervention of a senior Swedish politician, Claes Borgstrom (whose law firm partner was the Justice minister responsible for authorising CIA rendition cases), during the heat of Mr Assange’s conflict with the United States.

Marrianne Ny, the second prosecutor, was quoted in the Swedish newspaper Dagens Nyheter as having said: “Even if I’m wrong, I won’t give up.”

Regarding the second accuser (SW), it has since come to light that some of the police report that was originally withheld contained a statement made later in which it confirms that "’SW’ felt she was "railroaded by police and others around her".

There are stories about Ardin's history from the literature she produced to a group she used to work with and more that also raise questions but I'll not include those details here as they're not directly relevant to the case.

Ultimately, if you figured Assange was a rapist due to this case and decided he deserves no compassion - please consider all of the facts and evidence, the mainstream press have routinely omitted any mention of the anomalies in recent years.  The claims made by one of the parties involved shows they were coerced (and coerced by the party that destroyed evidence and appears to have fabricated evidence too).



PAEDOPHILE SMEAR (FROM "TODD & CLAIRE")

Fortunately, this was identified and called out before the smear took off, so, many of you won't even be aware of this - but I'm including it to give you an example of just how sick and twisted those who want to smear Assange can actually be and the extent they're willing to go to in their efforts to unduly undermine him and desensitize the public to his continued persecution.

Under Todd Hammond’s name, the report alleged that Assange’s Swedish lawyer had reached out in June to offer Assange’s services on a campaign against rape in exchange for an undisclosed amount of bitcoin. It said the two sides held two video-conferences.

Then came the bombshell: It said the company had ended ties with Assange following “pedophile crimes” he had committed in the Bahamas in late September. It charged that the victim was the 8-year-old daughter of a Canadian couple on a monthlong yachting vacation. The father went to police in Nassau on Sept. 28, the report claimed, charging that his family held video and chat logs showing Assange “internet grooming” the child and “propositioning the 8-year-old juvenile ‘to perform oral and anal sex acts.’ ”

It said Assange, who has been in refuge in Ecuador’s embassy in London since 2012, made a connection to the child’s 22-year-old sister, who was a client of the online dating site, gaining access to the young girl.

An assistant commissioner for the Royal Bahamas Police Force, Stephen Dean, said “there is no investigation” into any such incident and that the police have received no evidence that such an incident occurred.

RUSSIAGATE AND GUCCIFER 2.0

As stated at the beginning of this communication, I have spent the last 15 months, with help from others, investigating the "Guccifer 2.0" persona that emerged during the US election in 2016.  We have found that there are, overall, more indicators of the persona being in America than Russia and we have found deliberate efforts to fabricate evidence (starting with the very first batch of documents he released to reporters on June 15 2016 - a specific fabrication serving to support claims made by Shawn Henry and Dmitri Alperovitch of CrowdStrike in an article that was published in the Washington Post on June 14, 2016).

Guccifer 2.0 was set up by cyber-security experts with considerable counterintelligence and digital forensics experience.  It was originally intended as a way of getting ahead of the story in case John Podesta's emails (that were 'phished' on March 19, 2016) were leaked, which is why despite claiming to have hacked the DNC, all of his Guccifer 2.0's initial documents were from John Podesta's attachments, which is where the research document really came from).

Guccifer 2.0 was working in cahoots with Dmitri Alperovich and Shawn Henry of CrowdStrike, if not, indeed, they themselves that were managing the persona (I personally suspect that Shawn Henry masterminded the operation, he has all the skills and fits the profile perfectly and has been involved in efforts to undermine WikiLeaks in the past while he was at the FBI).

Even the malware that was at the DNC looks like it was probably planted by Robert Johnston when he visited the DNC between May 5 and May 10 (in 2016). Guccifer 2.0, was, a combination of information corruption operations.  The most prominent two:

- Signal Mimicry (The persona engaged in numerous deliberate choices in order to appear Russian and leave Russian 'fingerprints' but stated they were Romanian, the latter was a flimsy veil intended to be seen though so that researchers would look past that, find things that were Russian (metadata, etc) and be convinced by their findings, not questioning them, not testing them and not digging further. - Since then though, some digital forensics experts have taken a lot of time to be thorough where others failed to back in 2016 and throughout 2017 some stunning revelations (though highly technical) have been made.

- Poison The Well (Guccifer 2.0 repeatedly attributed himself to WikiLeaks... he then tried to attribute himself to Seth Rich after Seth Rich had been murdered and chose to do this on a day when many were expecting Assange to confirm Rich as the source - so desperate to attribute the 'Russian hacker' persona to Rich they even contradicted their own previous hacking claims in doing this).   (They did this so that if it was revealed that Rich was the source, it could be said a Russian hacker interfered with the leaks.)

It was a masterful domestic political deception campaign.

The Mueller investigation by the way, is a farce.  Mueller is friends with Shawn Henry and his investigation has never gone anywhere near CrowdStrike, a company that, in my opinion, desperately needs to be investigated by an impartial special council (something Mueller absolutely isn't).

The report has been sent (domestically in the US via recorded mail) to Robert Mueller, the DOJ and both intelligence and judiciary committees in the house and senate.

The DNCLeaks published by WikiLeaks were nothing to do with Russia, Guccifer 2.0 was a multi-faceted misdirection campaign, Assange didn't rape anyone and he isn't a paedophile.  You have been lied to in order to provoke disdain, disgust and ultimately, disregard for his plight by
some of the most accomplished deceivers in the world so that you don't care about what is being done to him.

Assange has been detained arbitrarily for almost eight years without charge.

Under the circumstances he's in, he has been denied fresh air, exercise, sunlight & proper medical care for five years.

His circumstances now have had him effectively in solitary confinement for the past seven weeks, it is not melodramatic to say this is equivalent to torture - it technically is torture at this stage.

He's no criminal, he's having his human rights trampled on (and this has intensified significantly in the past couple of months).

The way this man has been smeared and endlessly persecuted for shielding and assisting whistle blowers is, to those of us aware of all the evidence and context - absolutely abhorrent.

Please, do something to put pressure on Theresa May to end the disgraceful treatment he is being subjected to, at the very least, she should issue a formal guarantee that Assange will not be extradited to the US.  This would allow him to get the urgent medical treatment he needs and to resolve any outstanding legal processes required regarding whether he has a defense of "reasonable cause" for his failure to answer the police summons issued to him 10 days after he'd sought asylum in the Ecuadorian embassy.

He is being punished for exposing lies and corruption and now more than ever, he needs our help.
