  1. Dev--- Gaining Adsila Blessing
  2.
  3. [22:57] The avatar's eyes shimmer ceaselessly in the flickering light, and her head seem to gaze at the picture of the man on the wall, if only for a moment.
  4.
  5. "All mothers and fathers have a heart, even the Oscuri is no different, but her faith in her god corrupts her. I seek a way for her to retain strength, but not be compelled to evil as her god pressures her."
  6.
  7. A pause.
  8.
  9. "She is certainly a danger, I'm unsure how to resolve this. Though those who enter The Glade are welcome, and this includes this particularly distressing individual."
  10. (Adsila Coaxoch)
  11.
  12.
  13. [23:03] To display the idea he had in mind, Orion creates a little ball of water, no larger than a golf ball... He then holds it over the Goblet of Fire, allowing a few droplets to fall into the flame, one by one.
  14.
  15. "Yes, we are an open land, but like this droplets, certain new comers, without order will extinguish our light, a flame that will not be rekindled... But, from what I can see, she knows what order is to an extent..."
  16.
  17. Orion watched as one droplet quickly burned away into a warm steam, symbolizing the making of order between two different elements, and in a way becoming something entirely new, "Mother, if she can follow and help maintain the order of the Glade, then there might yet be hope..."
  18. (Orion Sinclair)
  19.
  20.
  21. [23:10] The avatar looks at the display for a moment, and nods.
  22.
  23. A whirl of wind. A loud smash as the shutters on the window slammed shut.
  24.
  25. A moment passes in crushing darkness.
  26.
  27. Nothing is heard.
  28.
  29. A pale green light approaches Orion's face, if his eyes were to adjust, he would see the faint outline of Adsila's expressionless, emotionless face.
  30.
  31. "Who has been polluting your mind with the arcane, Orion?"
  32. (Adsila Coaxoch)
  33.
  34.
  35. [23:14] Pulling his hand back and staring his mother in the eye or spears of energy which produced sight... He felt a chill travel down his spine, one with a sense of fear creeping into his soul...
  36.
  37. He had never seen Adsila like this, especially not towards him, this was the very first... "Arcane? Mother, what are you talking about? Did my water magic? I didn't mean to offend," he spoke softly, fearing that if he spoke loudly, he'd face deeper consequences.
  38.
  39. He literally had no idea what the arcane was, but he began to wonder, if the words his spoke were words all to similar to an enemy of the Glade.
  40. (Orion Sinclair)
  41.
  42.
  43. [23:17] The fire quickly reignites, and the windows open.
  44.
  45. Adsila pulls away as the light re-enters the room.
  46.
  47. "I apologize, child. It was forward of me to assume you knew of such things."
  48.
  49. A pause.
  50.
  51. "I will explain such things to you, however, you must understand that these magics are native to Agartha, and they consume the soul of the user."
  52. (Adsila Coaxoch)
  53.
  54.
  55. [23:23] His heart beat racing, sitting on the stool as if he had just saw the grim reaper himself. With his right hand holding a firm grip on his chest, right where his heart would be, young Orion looked at Adsila with widened eyes.
  56.
  57. "Magic?... Is, my Time magic... An acarne?...My water?... Mother, did you just see me as... A demon?..." Though his power was great for his age and growing continuously, he viewed Adsila as an actual mother... His heart partly shattered, as if the bonding ceremony meant nothing if he was not trusted.
  58.
  59. Orion's eyes were filled with an obvious sense of pain and trouble, because it is not the first time he has been accused of treasonous or fiendish acts. Never did he commit any dirty deeds at a cur-tailed price in life, but lately, especially after his return... Alexandrea, Myrrah and now even mother, has accused him of something, some vampire related.
  60. (Orion Sinclair)
  61.
  62.
  63. [23:23] Adsila Coaxoch says, "Order and Chaos."
  64. [23:23] Adsila Coaxoch says, "These two things define the arcane magics."
  65. [23:24] Adsila Coaxoch says, "Chaos is at it's core, destruction, entropy, and decay."
  66. [23:24] Adsila Coaxoch says, "Order, at it's core is compassion, mercy, and understanding."
  67. [23:25] Orion Sinclair says, "... Only an occult deals in absolute... I am not that mother..."
  68. [23:25] The avatar raises each of her claws.
  69.
  70. The left claw contains a twisted, aberration of a flower.
  71.
  72. The right claw contains a perfect, stunningly beautiful flower.
  73. (Adsila Coaxoch)
  74.
  75.
  76. [23:26] Adsila Coaxoch asks, "Can you guess what the issue with either of these things are?"
  77. [23:26] Orion Sinclair says, "One is beauty, the other... Chaotic..."
  78. [23:26] Adsila Coaxoch says, "One would think, yes? You feel yourself drawn to the beauty of the perfect flower."
  79. [23:26] Orion Sinclair says, "Mhm..."
  80. [23:26] Adsila Coaxoch says, "Yet.... it is unchanging."
  81. [23:27] Adsila Coaxoch says, "Stuck forever in it's perfection, flawless, and incorruptable."
  82. [23:27] Adsila Coaxoch says, "The other, is constantly twisting and changing."
  83. [23:27] Adsila Coaxoch says, "Abberation unto itself."
  84. [23:27] Orion Sinclair asks, "So... Balance?"
  85. [23:27] Adsila Coaxoch says, "Yet, both are wicked."
  86. [23:28] Adsila Coaxoch exclaims, "Yes!"
  87. [23:28] Adsila Coaxoch says, "Balance."
  88. [23:28] Adsila Coaxoch says, "One must grow, and change."
  89. [23:28] Adsila Coaxoch says, "Harmony bewteen these two grand forces."
  90. [23:28] Adsila Coaxoch says, "This is ultimately what I seek."
  91. [23:28] Orion Sinclair says, "A world must always have what it seeks to rid."
  92. [23:28] Orion Sinclair says, "To grow."
  93. [23:29] Adsila Coaxoch says, "Indeed."
  94. [23:30] Adsila Coaxoch says, "Hmm..."
  95. [23:30] Adsila Coaxoch says, "Orion."
  96. [23:31] Orion Sinclair asks, "Yes mother?"
  97. [23:31] Adsila Coaxoch asks, "It is my understanding you are a pupil to Song?"
  98. [23:32] Orion Sinclair says, "Yes mother... But I, sorta wish to do more with... My profession, I must ask you for permission."
  99. [23:32] Adsila Coaxoch says, "Please, never hesitate in asking me anything."
  100. [23:32] Adsila Coaxoch asks, "I am here to guide you, Orion. What is it you seek?"
  101.
  102. [23:34] Staring at the entity, he looked at the vine on his arm and back at her, "I had a dream, that everyone within the Glade faced a titanic sized beast, made from an element of water... This dream gave me an idea..."
  103.
  104. He took a moment of silence, fearing he would be strangled by Adsila…
  105.
  106. "Mother... With the power of the ancient glyph-art... I wish to create Sentinels, so that our people would not have to risk their lives or trust mercenaries," said Orion.
  107. (Orion Sinclair)
  108.
  109. [23:41] The avatar sighs loudly, and turns to Orion before responding to Sonar.
  110.
  111. She leans forward, and kisses the boy on his forehead, his marking would faintly glow for a moment, and a bright green rose sprouts forth upon his wrist, the edges of the petals glow with a faint blue hue.
  112.
  113. "I trust in your abilities, Orion. I will help you in this task, if at all possible."
  114.
  115. A pause.
  116.
  117. "I will never harm you so long as your mark remains in-tact. Never forget this."
  118.
  119. The avatar might smile, if she could.
  120.
  121. She turns to Sonar.
  122. (Adsila Coaxoch)
  123.
  124. Later that day...
  125.
  126. [02:30] After his ordeals with Adsila & Alexandrea, young Orion made his way to the caves where he would begin to train and harvest all that he can from the rocky interior... His goal was clear, he knew that he would have to learn from all corners of Valmasia if he hoped to find himself the secrets to create a Sentinel(Skurn) and by doing such he would have finally gained proper guardians for the Glade. His biggest fear was to let the Glade rely on the help of a single Oscri, his secondary fear... Was that he had became flushed over Val, the daughter of the same woman who has threatened to kill him... Orion did not know what to think, but for now he would hack away at the stone... Hoping that he could practice with the minerals he's gathered and possibly make a mini-Skurn out of it through the use of his runes.
  127. (Orion Sinclair)
