Games Where You Play as Nazis

Games Where You Play as Nazis (Explicitly or by Choice)

1. Battlefield 1942 (2002) & Other Battlefield Games – In multiplayer, you can play as the German side, including Nazi-affiliated forces.
2. Call of Duty Series (Multiplayer & Some Campaign Segments) – Many Call of Duty games let you play as the German forces in multiplayer. Some campaigns (like Call of Duty: World at War) have brief segments from the Axis perspective.
3. Day of Defeat (2003) – A WWII multiplayer shooter where you can play as the Wehrmacht.
4. Hearts of Iron Series – A grand strategy game where you control entire nations, including Nazi Germany, and manage war efforts.
5. Sniper Elite Series (Certain Missions) – In Sniper Elite V2 Remastered, there's a DLC where you can play as a German sniper.
6. Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory (2003) – A multiplayer shooter where one team plays as Axis soldiers.

Games Where Nazis Are the Protagonists (Rare & Often Controversial)

• Through the Darkest of Times (2020) – A strategy game where you lead a resistance group against the Nazis, but some missions require infiltrating them.
• War Front: Turning Point (2007) – A WWII RTS where you can control German forces in an alternate-history setting.
• Blitzkrieg Series – Some missions allow you to command German forces.

Notable Absences

Most major WWII story-driven games (Medal of Honor, Wolfenstein, Call of Duty, etc.) put you in the role of the Allies fighting against the Nazis rather than playing as them. When German forces are playable, it’s typically in a multiplayer or strategic context rather than a narrative-driven campaign.
