  1. Middle East Cloud VPS Hosting
  2. Is anyone aware of any Middle East based Cloud VPS providers? Linode and Digital Ocean both have Mumbai, India locations and of the big or 'reliable' providers the only one that seems to be opening Middle East data centre is AWS in Bahrain.

  15. Does anyone know of any providers comparable to Linode or Digital Ocean offering linux servers in the Middle East?
  16.
  17. Thank you.
  18.
  19. Only NashirNet is known as a reliable provider for cloud VPS in Saudi Arabia, other than that there is Buzinessware which offers cloud and is costly!
  20. E?OTICVM - Listing exotic VPS locations around the world!

  22. Sadeem, they are provide cloud based hosting solution via their Saudi based IaaS.
  23.
  24. Thank you @dedijoe @BlaZeX.
  25.
  26. They both seem quite expensive (compared to the standard pricing) - but good to know there are some out there.
  27.
  28. Having thought about, I checked Azure. They seem to have the best (and likely most diverse) choice of regions (https://azure.microsoft.com/en-gb/gl...cture/regions/) - 2 in the UAE - Microsoft has had roots everywhere for a while. But compared to Linode o Digital Ocean - they are extremely expensive (much like AWS and GCP) - almost 50% more per 16 GB VM - and you get no storage with Azure as part of that and 2 less CPU cores.
  29.
  30. So I suppose it boils down to whether having your servers in Mumbai or Bangalore in India and saving almost $1,200 is worth the few milliseconds of latency - and for us - that latency is probably acceptable.

  32. For middle east you might be able to find your answer with this provider https://www.kamatera.com
  33. I cant really suggest anything beyond as I didn't try them.

  38. GCP with Google premium network from the US to anywhere would be very fast to the middle east or India, and their pricing is not terrible. Latency is very low!
  39.
  40. Ali Cloud have a dubai location, though prices are a little steep and probably unmanaged.
  41.
  42. Something to maybe have a look at?
  43.
  44. Thank you @coderstech - Israel is not a location we would consider in the Middle East.
  45. @Stephen - I've had a look at this and it looks promising. But we're using at least 3TB of outgoing bandwidth compressed JSON payloads each month, and some months it's over 7 TB - and that adds up quite quickly.
  46. @spoint - Good to know about Ali Cloud's Dubai location too, but they seem to cost more or less the same as Azure does.
