- NOTE: This route requires you to be on v1.5 (Welcome amiibo)
- - Start a New Save File on September 10th, 2021 at 5pm
- - Get a map where the river is super short and out of the way leaving a big open space for bugs
- - Bonus points if you can place your house right next to main street but anywhere close is fine
- - Also bonus if you get town hall close as well (and plaza but that doesn't matter as much)
- - Introduce yourself to the 3 villagers that greet you in front of the train station
- - During intros, take any fruit you find and keep it
- - Tree
- Do the following tasks in any order you desire/find the fastest due to your map layout:
- - Shop, sell perfect fruit and regular fruit for 560 bells and buy shovel with it (if you didn't find perfect fruit, take off shoes/socks and sell 5 regular fruit and the shoes/socks)
- - Find money rock/more fruit trees if you see any
- - Introduce yourself to the other 2 villagers that are in their houses
- - If town hall is close, go to the MEOW Coupon Machine and get +4 MEOW coupons (you'll have to talk to it twice)
- - Pay off 1st debt
- - Go back to Nookling Junction and buy the net if it's there
- - Save & Quit
- ***September 14th, 2021 5pm***
- - Catch the following bugs IF you found a net on day 1, if you didn't skip to next point about 2nd debt:
- Cricket
- Bell Cricket
- - As you're going around, pluck any weeds you see and keep track/find more fruit
- - IMPORTANT: If you see ANY purple violets KEEP them for later
- - At the end of it all, with your weed count, plant trees right up against train tracks until your total count reaches 30. Example: I plucked 12 weeds, so I only need to plant 18 fruit trees to reach 30 total
- - Use MEOW coupons to pay off 2nd debt (+42,000 from 14 coupons)
- - You do not need to talk to Nook after paying off 2nd debt
- - Look for net in shop if you didn't get one before
- - Save & Quit
- ***September 15th, 2021 12pm***
- - Catch the following bugs:
- Monarch Butterfly
- Long Locust
- Migratory Locust
- Rice Grasshopper
- Mantis
- Orchid Mantis
- Red Dragonfly
- Grasshopper
- - The only bugs you NEED to catch are Monarch Butterfly & Red Dragonfly, everything else can be gotten later
- - Talk to Tortimer at dock to unlock island
- - Save & Quit
- ***September 16th, 2021 11pm***
- NOTE: This segment is at 11pm because you can find some additional bonus bugs on normal trees on the island such as Giant Stag and Scarab Beetle. However, you can not find the Tiger Beetle at this time. If you want you can go to 7pm instead it's up to you. You can find a Tiger Beetle later on in your town if you're lucky or you can just go back to the island later on to get it.
- - Gardening Shop opens (check Gardening Shop for axe/purple violets if you went 7pm instead of 11pm)
- - Go to the island and take the axe, shovel, and net
- - Go around the left side and chop down the palm trees until you reach the right side
- - Keep about 4 palm trees on the right side of the island
- - Catch any free normal tree bugs you find then chop down all of the normal trees EXCEPT 1
- - I HIGHLY recommend before you get rid of the flowers/bushes to find an Emperor Butterfly as it's much more common to find on the island than your town
- - Catch the following bugs:
- Cyclommatus Stag
- Golden Stag
- Horned Atlas
- Horned Elephant
- Horned Hercules
- Goliath Beetle
- Tiger Beetle (doesn't appear at 11pm)
- Wharf Roach
- Hermit Crab
- - Store the palm tree beetles to sell after
- - If there's a hibiscus in the shop do a tour to be able to buy it, the following tours are ranked from best (fastest to complete) to worst (slowest to complete):
- - If there isn't, check tours anyway to see if you get one in the fastest group
- FASTEST GROUP (around 3 min to complete):
- Scavenger Hunt (can be less than 2 mins with good RNG)
- Gardening Tour (3:30 for gold so around that + can get purple violets so this one's pretty good)
- Hammer Tour (3 mins)
- Item-Matching Tour (3:30 for gold)
- Labyrinth Tour (3:30 for gold)
- MEDIUM GROUP (around 4-5 mins to complete):
- Hide-and-Seek (5:00 for gold so less than 5 mins at least)
- Ore-Hunter Tour (4 mins, note for this one you will need 4/4 of the "bonus" ore that is worth 3 points + rest of the inventory other ore in order to get at least 5 medals. so this one is kinda risky to go for if you get screwed over with bad RNG)
- Any 5 min tours (Diving, Bug Catching, Balloons)
- WORST GROUP (6+ mins to complete):
- Beginner Fishing Tour + any other fishing tours (6 mins)
- Fossil Finder's Tour (8:00 for gold)
- - Save & Quit
- IMPORTANT: If you get a hibiscus go forwards 2 days right after to make it grow in case you get rain later for snail
- ALSO IMPORANT: If you find an axe, keep trying to get more, you'll be using all of them later
- ALSO ALSO IMPORTANT: When you see flowers in Gardening Shop, just buy them instead of saying no since it's faster and having more flowers is better for some bugs. If you found purple violets already however, ignore the flowers
