  1. C
  2.
  3. Sophie: Hi, Mitama!
  4.
  5. Mitama: Sister approaches/What could she need, I wonder/Oh well, she will ask.
  6.
  7. Sophie: I did actually want to ask you something. Do you still have that book Papa gave you when we were little?
  8.
  9. Mitama: My collection of haiku? Of course I still have it.
  10.
  11. Mitama: It awakened me/To my talents with a brush/It's very precious.
  12.
  13. Sophie: Could I borrow it sometime? I promise I'll be really, really careful with it!
  14.
  15. Mitama: Did Father not get you your own copy?
  16.
  17. Sophie: No, not that I can remember... I think there might have been a different book he got me?
  18.
  19. Sophie: And it was before Avel, so I know he couldn't have eaten it!
  20.
  21. Mitama: Sister's ornery horse/Inspires no confidence/In my book's safety.
  22.
  23. Sophie: That's...! A fair point, I guess.
  24.
  25. Sophie: I'll just need to find the book that Papa gave me instead! Then we'll both have our special books!
  26.
  27. Mitama: I wish you good luck/In your search for memories/And your special book.
  28.
  29. Sophie: Thanks, Mitama.
  30.
  31. B
  32.
  33. Mitama: That book you're reading/Looks well-worn with touch and time/What is it about?
  34.
  35. Sophie: Oh, this? It's the book of rhymes I got from Papa when I was little!
  36.
  37. Sophie: It took some searching, but I managed to find it.
  38.
  39. Mitama: "1001 Limericks To Shake Your Bones"? That...sounds like something Father would buy.
  40.
  41. Sophie: Do you wanna hear one?
  42.
  43. Mitama: I suppose I could spare a moment.
  44.
  45. Sophie: "There once was a knightess from Nohr,
  46. Who thought that her horse was a bore,
  47. Got a wyvern instead, but he went for her head,
  48. And now that knightess is no more."
  49.
  50. Mitama: ......
  51.
  52. Sophie: ......
  53.
  54. Mitama: ...Hm.
  55.
  56. Sophie: You know, I don't remember them being this...dark.
  57.
  58. Mitama: Are they all like that?/Touched by humorous violence/Father WOULD buy that.
  59.
  60. Sophie: Let's try another one, maybe?
  61.
  62. Sophie: "The archer that shot from afar,
  63. He had a peculiar scar,
  64. When asked to explain, he'd tell you to abstain,
  65. From asking a Faceless to spar."
  66.
  67. Mitama: You read this as a child?
  68.
  69. Sophie: I had to have! I know this is the book I kept in my room!
  70.
  71. Mitama: Father's sense of humor is odd, indeed...
  72.
  73. Sophie: There's no way any of these limericks are kid-friendly!
  74.
  75. Sophie: Oh, no... If Daddy finds out I was reading something like this, what would he say?!
  76.
  77. Mitama: Best to put it back where you found it, Sister.
  78.
  79. Mitama: Beyond that issue/It'd be wise to ask Father/Where he got this book.
  80.
  81. A
  82.
  83. Sophie: Mitama! Hey, Mitama!
  84.
  85. Mitama: Sophie. Did you ask Father about the book?
  86.
  87. Sophie: I did, yeah. You'll never believe it!
  88.
  89. Mitama: I won't hold my breath/Our father is very odd/Nothing is weird now.
  90.
  91. Sophie: Apparently, when I found out you'd gotten a book, I cried SO loud for SO long that Papa panicked and gave ME the book he bought for Prince Corrin!
  92.
  93. Mitama: That atrocious book/A gift for our commander?/What was he thinking?
  94.
  95. Sophie: I think it was supposed to be a birthday gift? You know how Papa's sense of humor is.
  96.
  97. Mitama: (Oh, I'm aware...)
  98.
  99. Sophie: Anyway, after he got back to the army, he forgot all about it!
  100.
  101. Sophie: He took it back after I told him, though...and made me promise not to tell Daddy.
  102.
  103. Sophie: ......
  104.
  105. Mitama: Sophie? Is something wrong?
  106.
  107. Sophie: It's...nothing, really. Even though it was a terrible book, it was still something I had since I was little. I guess I'm just missing it.
  108.
  109. Mitama: Sister, don't be sad/I will share my book with you/Let's read together.
  110.
  111. Sophie: You really mean it?! You aren't afraid I'll ruin it?
  112.
  113. Mitama: Yes, I'm sure. We'll just keep that horse of yours very, VERY far away.
  114.
  115. Sophie: You're the best, Mitama! I promise I'll write the very best haikus to thank you!
  116.
  117. Mitama: As long as they stay appropriate...
