- Doug is originally from a world ruled by a terrible demon with incredible power and limited imagination. After an attempt on the demon's life resulted in his friends deaths, Doug was then banished to ZFRP Las Vegas, consigned to manage a shitty anime and comic-book store for all eternity.

But Douglas treats Dimitri as a rock of common sense and sanity, and Dimitri doesn't hesitate to help his friend when they're in trouble.
