Auric Relaxation

The door shuts with a loud “Ker-thud” before a certain metal-boned canine makes her way into the place before letting out a sigh.
	“Ugh… thank Suicune I’m home…” She plops her bag onto the nearby couch before making her way through the halls towards her kitchen… She had made sure to set the timer on her crock pot to go off when she was a few hours away from her home, so by now, her dinner must be about ready. Without another word, she sniffs the air to get the smell of pot roast into her nose before letting out a content sigh. Oh, yeah, it was going to be so good to get something to eat…
Her day just so happened to be on the worse side, what with having to deal with horrible clients and angry people all day, so she was just ready for the day to be over. Without a word, she makes her way into the kitchen, and immediately heads over to the source of that delicious smell she caught on the way in: the crock pot sitting on top of her stove. After reaching into the cabinet just to the right of that stove to grab one of the larger bowls she liked to keep for such a delicious occasion, she turns the heating element off, and lifts the lid off of that pot.
“Oh, it’s absolutely perfect…!”
Immediately, her face fills with steam before she reaches for a large spoon off to the side to pull apart a large chunk of that delicious meat into her bowl, along with a good helping of that delicious broth, carrots, onions, and celery that came from within. Within minutes, she makes her way back towards the small table that was in the dining room, takes a seat, and starts to dig into the food within that dish… Savory flavors bounce on her tongue, and judging from the way that she’s eating, she’s going to get a second helping.

Brakka-brakka-brakka!

She looks up from her meal for a moment at the sound of something banging against her front door. She lets out a sigh before getting up from her seat, wiping her face with a napkin, and heading that way. After making sure that she was at least a little bit more presentable than she was when she walked in, the canine waits for a second or two before opening the door.
A rabbit. That’s what was waiting for her there.
“Ah, there you are! Was wondering what was taking you so long.”
“J-J-Just needed to grab something on the way. I-I-Is dinner ready?” At that, the canine nods before turning to the side just enough to leave the rabbit some space to get in.
“Just got through with the first round. You want some, then?” The rabbit just nods, and quietly makes their way into that place before plopping down at a nearby table… The canine simply gives them a smile before going to get a second helping for herself, and a nice big bowl for her friend.
