☆» Ye ─ it's just the first syllable of her korean name. Sometimes they tease her as 'Yue' or 'Yue yue' as a joke since Ye sounds like 'yue' which means 'moon' in mandarin. And yue yue is like a word play of her surname and 'ye'.
☆» Jungjung/Jungjungie ─ another nickname that they use purely for teasing Yejung as she 'hates' the nickname, however, she sometimes secretly loves it

• her brother, moon taeil, is helping their father with his business. their father is the owner and director of a huge group in south korea called the Common Blue group or in sort the CB group (named after the common blue butterfly)
• yejung is close with her older siblings, moon taeil and moon byulyi. byulyi is the director of CB group's hotel or leisure/vacation division (called Hearta (헤알타)) and is known internationally.
• other than performing, she also loves designing.

❛  BACKGROUND ;;
at a young age, yejung had always loved dancing and singing, ever since she watched snsd's genie when she was around 8-9. in the beginning, her parents allowed her to start dancing and which is how she started attending dancw classes. when she had came back to korea, during the age of 13, she joined a dance crew named krown as their leader.

that was, you can say, the calm before the storm. a year after she joined the crew, which was when she was 14. yejung's friends encouraged her to go audition for a company, she had chose sm at that time and had passed the audition. however, when she reached home and told her parents (mostly her father), they got mad and disagreed to her becoming an idol. why? they wanted her to continue their business. both her and her parents had a fight regarding this, both her sister and brother tried convincing their parents but it was no use.

now, yejung is still part of krown, which their parents agreed on her continuing to be part of it after both taeil and byulyi convincing them to allow her. even with her parents allowing her to stay in krown, their relationship is still bad.
