What did you learn early on that helped you in the field?

I'm still figuring out exactly what I want to do and what degrees are more useful.
I enjoy computers, I do not want to sit and develop software all day.
MIS sounds like a good place between business and technology
UCA's has a BBA MIS program - what could I do with that career wise and what would the jobs entail?

BBA MIS has 2 concentrations:
Networking & System Administration - heard there is more money
Business Analysis - I enjoy analysis
(looking at jobs such as; systems analyst, network admin, revenue management analyst)
Maybe cyber security
related: maybe computer and information research scientist
