Its founder, president and CEO Les Wexner is a Zionist. He is on the board of directors of Emet: An Educational Initiative, Inc, the Pro-Israel Media ‘War Room’ whose function is to ensure that all media in the US stays biased in favor of Israel.

In early 2001, a tightly knit group of billionaire philanthropists conceived of a plan to win American sympathy for Israel's response to the Palestinian intifada. They believed that the Palestinian cause was finding too much support within crucial segments of the American public, particularly within the media and on college campuses. They formed an organization, Emet: An Educational Initiative, Inc., to offer Israel the kind of PR that the Israeli government seemed unable to provide itself. At first, Emet floundered, without an executive director or a well-defined mission. But that changed after Sept. 11, and Emet changed too, into what is now the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies. The name is different, but the goal of influencing America's opinion-forming classes remains.

Abramson has recruited a powerful board of directors, including Bernie Marcus, founder of Home Depot; (Les Wexner, founder of The Limited); Edgar Bronfman Sr., who once owned Seagram's; and Lou Ranieri, a major Wall Street player who now co-owns one of Israel's largest banks. Also joining the board are Jeane Kirkpatrick, former U.S. Ambassador to the UN, and Jack Kemp."

Wexner's position at EMET becomes especially troubling when considering his tremendous reach in the news media: Mr. Wexner is also a director of Hollinger International, Inc. and Hollinger International Publishing, Inc. Hollinger International, Inc. is a publisher of English-language newspapers in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada and Israel. Its assets include The Daily Telegraph, the Chicago Sun-Times, The Jerusalem Post, a large number of community newspapers in the Chicago area and a portfolio of new media investments. The Company's Canadian newspapers are primarily in Ontario and British Columbia and are owned through Hollinger Canadian Newspapers, Limited Partnership. In addition, the Company also has a 50% interest in The National Post Company, and a 15.6% equity interest in CanWest Global Communications Corp., an international media company with substantial interests in conventional television, specialty cable channels, radio networks and newspapers. In April 2002, the Company sold its ineterest in The National Post Company to CanWest Global Communications, the owner of the other 50% interest.

The Wexner Foundation:

In 1984 Les Wexner, who is one of the world’s 200 wealthiest people, created the Wexner Foundation. The foundation's mission statement says that their primary goal is ‘strengthening Jewish Leadership in North America and Israel.’  One of the programs the Foundation runs is the Wexner Israel Fellowship Program which annually brings up to ten Israeli officials to Harvard for a year long MPA program coupled with intensive leadership development institutes. Over 135 Israeli officials have participated thus far. Many alumni of the Israel Fellowship program presently hold high offices in most Israeli government ministries and in the various branches of the Israel Defense Forces. The Wexner Foundation sponsors ‘Birthright Israel ‘ – a program that pays for young American Jews to take free indoctrination trips to Israel.  It is also a long-standing supporter of Hillel – the bastion of campus Zionism on campus.

In 2003 a leaked document emerged entitled WEXNER ANALYSIS: ISRAELI COMMUNICATION PRIORITIES 2003. It is a 'communications guide' for creating sympathy and bolstering support for Isreal while avoiding the harsh reality of Palestinian oppression. This unabashed work of manipulation and deceit was written by The Luntz Research Companies, a prominent public relations and opinion research firm. The document urges readers to "Find yourself a good female spokesperson. In all our testing, women are found to be more credible than men. And if the woman has children, that's even better." It also urges readers use rhetorical questions to avoid meaningful
debate with proponents of a fully-recognize Palestinian state. The use of rhetoric in the manual illustrates how language is a fundamental tool in maintaining an oppressive regime. This document is alleged to have been commissioned by the Wexner Foundation. You can find the full text here:

Victoria's Secret

One of the main suppliers of Victoria’s Secret merchandise is the Israeli textile giant Delta Galil Industries Ltd.. delta Galil has factories in Israel, China, India, Indonesia, thailand, and other locations in the Middle and Far East. the Israeli factory is located in Karmiel, a planned city in the Galilee that was founded on land expropriated from three Palestinian-Israeli villages. In 2007, delta Galil was cited by the national labor Committee (an nGo devoted to eradicating sweatshops) for “slave-like” working conditions in its produc- tion facility in Jordan, since closed. Additionally, as of august, 2009, El al, the official Israeli airline, is the first in the world to have a contract with Victoria’s secret to sell perfume and lingerie in-flight.
By partnering so closely with Delta Galil and El Al, Victoria’s Secret is helping to support Israeli Apartheid, ethnic cleansing and war crimes.

1. Most of the cotton grown for Delta Galil is grown on lands confiscated from Palestinians.
2. A large number of factory workers for VS are female Palestinian refugees who earn $100 a month.
3. Due to a free-trade program started by Condoleeza Rice in Israel, all garments stitched by Palestinian women in Jordan factories must be labeled "made in Israel."
