I decided to do a casual stream event of my own, so here it is: CLEART FOR TWO. Two weeks with me. Off the heels of our friends marathon, KVFM, I felt inspired to do it myself. I wanted to do it a few months ago, but clearly the timeline overlapped so I waited until now.

There's a bunch of reasons why I felt like doing it. I've really enjoyed the Mega Man no damage stuff for the last year+, and I've been going 1-2 times a week at it for awhile. Other kind of playthroughs fell off a bit, I used to do some RPGs but I started making different priorities in general and it made it hard to keep up with it all on stream, so I mostly have stuck to Mega Man. But I definitely miss doing some more social/fun kind of streams. Everything like Mega Man that has to do with challenges and skill tests is more of my bread and butter, but I think there's always a little bit missing on having a more lighthearted stream every now and then. And I think this sort of thing will be fun. In many ways I just stick to Mega Man mostly on the channel because its consistent and it helps with what the limited traction I have on the platform. But it also doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things, and it should be fun to branch out a bit, even if it's for a short time.

I also very rarely like, sell myself. And I'm not really trying to, but sometimes I hang out in the shadows a bit too much, even for me. Sometimes you just gotta break the mold. I've been partnered for 8 years in October, and I hang out in a very particular space and make no real attempts to try to "grow", all by design. But it doesn't mean I can't put on a whole thing to try to have a good time for something like this, and I want to. I think I could do a good job and make it a fun time for whoever stops by.

It's best for me and my schedule to block it like this - I made time for it and will hopefully have a good time for this time span, then I'll go back to the normal stream schedule and focus on other things, especially through the holiday season. The games are things I've been saying for too long that I'd play sometime, and I think it's a good array of things that will be fun to stream.

There won't be any strictly monetary goals or anything like that, but I'll find some way to make any support appreciated. I'll use channel points for random things (like GrabBag) to try & make it fun though. The whole thing is really not anything meant to be formal, it should just be a fun time & I'm looking forward to it. And I don't know if I'll get to do something like this again, but gotta seize the moment. See you there~
