Hell story back up new chapter

  It has been four months since I got out of the hospital, its September 20th now, and I just got moved into a new place, a definite fixer upper; and I have a stack of community action councils or whatever numbers to call about work being done on it; provided I don't try to sell the house in the near future or whatever. It is a good thing I moved out of my mother's basement because...she followed me back. I mentioned before a few haunting like things happening around my mother's house when I wrote out my experiences, but that was only the tip of the iceberg so to speak.


   Around my mother's house like I said there were things like the toilet flushing late at night, the living room tv turning on. and a shadow out of the corner of the eye that rushed by in the basement, half of which I was living in at the time. To paint a picture here my mother has a fairly big two story house, three bedrooms, two baths, a big living room, dining room, two car garage, and a full basement divided by a wall. One half is carpeted and before I was staying there was home to a pool table and air hockey table; which I am sure were only ever played with on holidays when people came over. My old child hood room had been turned into a craft room so they set up a cot down there while I was house hunting. Other than the ghostly stuff the only other things were my father complaining about something setting off the motion detectors for the lights outside and the security cameras (hey big house, a little outside of town...or was). When I was a kid it was mostly forests and cornfields but now there are a ton of houses out there, hard to say its out of town now. But either way they have a pretty good security system, pain in the ass when I was in my early twenties to remember the code my dad kept insisting upon changing every week for some reason. Anyway, the security goes off, weird shadow goes by the porch like a panther keeping just out of view.

   After I found a place and got my brother to help me get my stuff from storage to the new place; which was ironically a forclosed house on somebody else, so got a pretty low mortgage; any way; it was right after I moved out the next night my mother calls me. I go out there and it looks like a bear had been climbing all over their house. She said they had gone out to eat and when they came home they found all the lights on, the front door nearly ripped off its hinges; which would be a metal bar door over a glass storm door than the oak door underneath; I swear this door cost more than my first car; and in the wrong direction. These doors open outwards, it looked like someone had taken a battering ram to them. The inside of the house wasn't as destroyed; in that there were weird cut marks on the walls like someone had been sliding uneven knives from the floor to cieling along the paint, and scratch marks like from a bear's claws along the wooden floor. The police interviewed the neighbors who did hear a sound like a loud bang but otherwise didn't notice anything. No cars, no people, people tend to keep to themselves and apparently this had happened like right after dark so even all the lights on didn't get noticed. Nothing was reported stolen, and the security cameras were only on the porch glitched out just as some massive ball of a shadow came flying from the yard. It was a blur, and the police concluded it had to be a black bear. But apparently not one interested in the kitchen; they said given this level of aggression my parents were lucky they weren't home, the ranger who came out that afternoon said given the marks all over the walls something had to be wrong with the bear, so my parents stayed in a hotel that night while the door was being fixed.

   A few days have passed and the police are sure a bear is on the loose, there has been reports of livestock in the area being killed and pets, all leading along the roads heading towards town. Although the guy with the dead Llama said he saw the creature, and said it wasn't a bear. He described a giant shadow porcupine with a long squirrel tail covered in spikes, all covered in a black mist with red glowing eyes...Its her. I am not telling anyone anything, writing this on my computer for my own sake. The police are sure it is a bear and it is getting closer to the city, people advised to stay off the streets at night till its found, might be an escaped grizzly given the amount its eating they said, and strength it must have as it has torn hinges off barn doors, bashed steel doors open, ect..

   October 10th:
     They never found any bear, but the livestock killings stopped. The police said the animal either died or moved on back up the mountains. Been hearing sightings of the "demon porcupine" artist interpritations are total shit, the shadow mist bit makes them all think it is this big fat creature with glowing red eyes covered in quills, like a giant one of those (Critters) from the movies only with a long tail. The sightings on the news say people see it climbing across roof tops at night waking people up with the noise, one person claims it must be a Moth Man because they caught it in their high beams eating a deer by the side of the road and it just went straight up and vanished. I remember the hospital, only I could see it, then it faded away, and if it was acting like a ghost; I don't get why it is is letting people see it now. But word is some monster hunter show, the kind of thing they can film and edit in days is out there right now, Halloween time, seems short notice but yeah I guess two days of camping out with night vision cameras can be edited in time for Halloween; just a youtube channel. Looked into it, the local papers want to make a big deal like a network sent out monster hunters when its just some guys wth some cameras and a patreon account competing on youtube.
