Centuries ago, rather than have a full out war of the revelation, a deal was struck between the heroes of the good and the evil. The beach you visited was sanctioned to the evil. There, the undead could walk like living beings among us.
Never trust the IMDb. Currently rated 7.5 there, I note how most of the reviews are from people who have either a) never reviewed anything else, or b) have only reviewed the director's other movie. Hmmm. While not without promise, this is mostly amateur work, with a poorly thought-out script, cringeworthy dialogue and a grand total of about five zombies. From what I could tell, there's a beach where the undead are able to walk the earth, and woe betide anyone that goes there - for example, for a swimwear photo-shoot. Meanwhile, there's a policeman trying to figure out what's going on (I guess the 'Zombie Beach' sign didn't give him a clue), a holy man who provides all the necessary exposition, and leading man Roshan, played by director, producer and co-writer Asopa.
Before I start my review, let me just say that this will be biased as I am always easily won over by zombie movies. The fact that they just keep coming (fast or slow), lack character and only want to kill really just freaks me out. So I tend to get easily scared by the genre (even if &#39;enjoy&#39; is perhaps not the right word) and be easily more negligent towards their faults. Despite telling myself that I wouldn&#39;t bother with this film as it would scare me, I went for it anyway in a fit of &#39;confront your fears&#39; type of stupidity! The film starts with a creepy opening and pretty much manages to keep the pace up for the whole film. It, like the zombies, moves fast and brutally throughout and is very, very tense.The plot itself also has quite a few stupid moments where the characters act in a way you know they wouldn&#39;t in real life.<br/><br/>The cast is good even if the script places their characters secondary to the action.Multicultural casting and music video make me feel very good about the film.I can see Asopa alone had done lots of work in making this film and it is very well done.It was very well accepted by audience at the film festival in Washougal.
