Covet: Kelsey was in the studio working on putting a sample together of something she'd been working on for the past week. She was very excited about it and was sitting at the piano working on some of the music to go along with the lyrics.
Alexithymiaa: -Brad had been on set for most of the day and was now winding down a bit from a jam packed day of shooting. Slumped down on the couch, he had his laptop in his lap and was sort of just internet scrolling and amusing himself because he didnt feel like doing any work at the moment.-
Covet: Kelsey was smiling as she played a bit of the pre-chorus and chorus a few times. " But one of these things is not like the others, Like a Rainbow with all of the colors. Baby doll, when it comes to a lover, I promise that you'll never find another like... Me-e-e...." She stopped then looked out in the main area of the studio and saw Brad. Getting up she went over to the door and opened it up, "Hey, do you want to see what I've been working on?"
Alexithymiaa: -He looked up from his computer a little dazed, taking a moment to register her words before nodding. "Oh yeah, sure. Give me a sec." He moved his laptop off his lap and onto the couch beside him, dragging himself up off the couch and onto his feet. "Okay, show me what you've got."-
Covet: "Okay, so I want to do something more upbeat. I had this really cool idea for the video too, but it's not something we're going to be able to do until after the first leg of the tour in July." She said all hyped up and talking fast. Then she started off at the begining of the song. " I know that I'm a handful, baby. I know I never think before I jump, And you're the kinda guy the ladies want, and there's a lot of cool chicks out there. I know that I went psycho on the phone, I never leave well enough alone, and trouble's gonna follow where I go, and there's a lot of cool chicks out there." She sang playing along with a cute catchy up beat as she hit the keys.
Alexithymiaa: -He moved over to lean against the open doorway of the piano room, crossing his arms over his chest and listing to her as she played the tune and sang along. He raised his brows, instantly intrigued by the melody and how edgy and 'now' it sounded. "Wow. I'm loving this so far."-
Covet: "Really?" She said to him. " I'm thinking lots of bright colors, butterflies... kind of... Dr. Parnasus sort of feel but more girly." Kelsey said as she played over the chorus again.
Alexithymiaa: "I can see it. I want to hear more though. Do you have the bridge yet? I think I'm seeing something in my head for this already, going along with the idea you've got."-
Covet: "Oh? What do you have in mind?" She said to him looking at him happy that he was pitching in to help.
Alexithymiaa: "Just hold on, do you have the bridge yet? Play the bridge." He said with a wave of his hand, trying to flesh out the images whirling around in his brain.-
Covet: "Okay, okay..." Kelsey said with a laugh, then looked over at the piano to start playing the bridge, "Hey, kids! Spelling is fun, Girl there ain't no I in "team" but you know there is a "me" Strike the band up one two three, I promise that you'll never find another like me. Girl, there aint no I in "team" but you know there is a "me" and you can't spell "awesome" with out "me" I promise that you'll never find another like Me-e-e, Ooh-ooh-ooh "
Alexithymiaa: -Listening he started to nod. "Okay, all I see is like... an army almost. Like just a shit ton of extras in sync and kind of like... building you up to go along with the lyrics boasting how great you are."-
Covet: "Army or like Marching band? Since I mention the band?" She said to him all excited. "Hey, it's not just about me though. Cause it's about how unique and such that you are too. Which is what makes us good together." She told him, explaining.
Alexithymiaa: "I think that's the point. They almost look like they could be either because they're so uniform, ya' know? I don't know, I have to work it out a little more once we have a bigger picture idea, but I like it a lot so far."-
Covet: "Yeah, I got you. I'm so excited by all of this. It's really going to stretch your directing and editing though. Because it's going to be a lot of surrealism." Kelsey explained further.
Alexithymiaa: "I like that though. I need to expand and branch out a little. That'll just make me better." He shifted his weight from one foot to the other.-

Covet: "Mhhm." She looked at him. "I'm happy with it. But I think it might need to be a duet, clearly. So I'm going to have to reach out and see who would want to work on it with me."
AlexithymiaaAlexithymiaa : "A duet?" He asked, his brain instantly going through his list of contacts. "Think Anna would be interested?"-
Covet: "Hmm... As much as I would love for it to be Anna, I'm thinking it needs to be a male." Kelsey said rejecting the idea.
Alexithymiaa: "Okay so..." He trailed off, running through his list again. "The Weeknd?"-
Covet: "No, too hip hoppy." She said shaking her head. "Who's big right now... I'm sure I could get Mr. Roth to reach out on my behalf."
Alexithymiaa: "Oh definitely. It benefits him just as much as it benefits you. Let's see..." He pulled his phone from his pocket, opening up a hits station and going to their most recently played. "Jonas Brothers, Shawn Mendes, Post Malone, Charlie Puth..."-
Covet: "Those are all good... What about... Brendon Urie?" She asked him. "He's good an all about that more positive up beat stuff currently."
Alexithymiaa: "He's hot." Brad said almost instantly like THAT was the deciding factor of whether or not she was supposed to work with him. "I like him. Definitely him. Find out if Mr. Roth can set up some sort of meeting. Do you want me to be there too?"-
Covet: "I will. I remember meeting him once before. We got him to show up for Bliss one point at the dorms forever ago." She said to him then. "If Mr. Roth can't, then maybe Steph can get to him through ATL. But I think he would be perfect, and yes, he is hot. Especially in a suit."
Alexithymiaa: "I know, I remember and I was pissed no one called me. Do you remember THAT part?" He asked a little bitterly because he remembered it pretty well and was still sour about it. "Considering Steph owes you and they're on the same label? I think it's only fair you ask her."-
Covet: "I'm sorry! I didn't even realize it would be something that you would be interested in!" Kelsey said defensively about it still. "Steph doesn't owe me... but I'm sure she would be happy to set it up."
Alexithymiaa: "How could I not be interested? I've been in love with Brendon Urie since I was in middle school." And then he proceeded to make heart eyes because... Brendon. "I think you should ask. You've done a lot for her. I'm sure she'd reciprocate."-
Covet: "Mhhm. I'll send her a message tomorrow for sure. I'm super excited about this. I'd like to get it recorded before the tour so that way during the break in the tour I can get the video produced."
Alexithymiaa: "You could always preview the song live towards the end as a sort of thank you to the fans who came out to see you, that they got to hear the new song first." He asked with a shrug.-
Covet: "Oh, that would be awesome! I bet I could get Brendon to show up for that too and totally surprise the fans!" She said getting even more excited.
Alexithymiaa: "See, this is a good plan. Now we just need to get him on board. We could always see if he could come into town and meet here. I really do think i should be present for the meeting though."-
Covet: "I don't see why you couldn't be there for the meeting. At the very least everyone can collaborate on the video idea ahead of time." She told him. "Or maybe you could be there for the last five minutes. Brendon doesn't mind meeting fans, but business first."
Alexithymiaa: "I'm not just a fan. This is about business. I just think it would be important for me to be there during the business discussion. We can hangout and get drinks afterwards too if he wants to chill while he's in town." He added quickly because he very much was fangirling over him.-
Covet: "Okay slow down. We can offer it up, but I don't want to overwhelm him or anything. Act mostly normal." She said to Brad, "Or at least as normal as possible."
Alexithymiaa: "What? I'm acting normal. I'm normal." He tried to play it off, unable to fully mask his excitement about this. "Besides, he's cool. He'll probably want to check out Portland a little bit while he's here anyway."-
Covet: "Possibly. But... no weird stuff.. Just hanging out.. making professional connections... okay?" She said to him giving him a knowing look.
Alexithymiaa: "What?" He asked defensively, throwing his hands up into the air. "What do you think I'm going to do to him?"-
Covet: "Nothing, I just don't want you to be overly suggestive. The man is married." Kelsey said with a laugh.
Alexithymiaa: "Overly suggestive? Since when am I overly suggestive? I'm always the perfect amount of suggestive to fit the occasion." He spoke defensively even though he'd already thought about feeling Brendon out about.-
Covet: "Mhhm." Kelsey said with a smirk and got up, going to head out to the main area again. "C'mon Mr. Suggestive. Let's get home so we can get Connor in bed." She said with a laugh.
Alexithymiaa: "Mr. Suggestive? I could get used to that." He said with a grin, grabbing his computer from the couch and sliding it into his backpack. He threw it over his shoulder, following her out to the car.-
