  1. Someone is 301ing my site - adsense told me and I'm scared
  2. Hi guys, I own a local website with regional TLD that is performing good.

  14. Logging into adsense it says to me: HEY, IS IT NOTMYDOMAIN.COM of your own? We find your code into it!
  15.
  16. So I checked NOTMYDOMAIN.COM and.... boom it redirects to my money site. Domain is registered since 08/08/2019. Not dropped, not seen before on google, and more important NOT MY PROPERTY.
  17.
  18. What's happening? I'm scared because it is VERY strange.
  19.
  20. BTW it's two days I am getting A LOT OF TRAFFIC from facebook. I thought someone shared my content, but seems a different situation.
  21. May be one of your fans is trying to help you with ranking?
  22. Do you have word fence or something else monitoring your site?
  23.
  24. There is somewhere you can go to check and see if a new admin has been created you should figure out how to do that and check to see if you're compromised.
  25. Report the situation to the Adsense support before its too late ;)
  26. Why on earth would you report it if it's bringing traffic? Shouldn't this be reported only if it ends up causing harm?
  27. The mind boggles at some of the advice on here.
  28. I doubt a domain registered this month would bring any traffic and what if it brings bot traffic? Prefer being safe than sorry.
  29.
  30. - domain registrar
  31. - cloudflare
  32. - my hosting (says it's not possible to stop redirect)
  33.
  34. NOBODY gives a f*** about what's happening (besides my hosting). Is like today I am going to buy a random domain, do everything I want on it, and redirect to blackhatworld. IS IT POSSIBLE??
  35. 1) login in wp and see users remove all unnecessary ones.
  36. 2) change your login url and password
  37.
  38. 3) block the IP address of the 301.
  39.
  40. 4) disavow that 301.
  41.
  42. Unfortunately google has no support that will reply to you so this is all you can currently do. Also change google adsense, webmaster and analytics password

  53. There are no other users, other than mine. Why should be other users? They are simply redirecting.
  54.
  55. I neither understand why to change passwords: my accounts are not compromised. They are simply redirecting.
  56.
  57. AND IT SEEMS IS NOT POSSIBLE TO BLOCK THE IP, because 301 bypass the block

  63. It does not work
  64. Does 301 traffic come with a referrer tag? Perhaps you could redirect all users with this tag to another site
  65. They will probably contact you and try to sell you the .com domain.
  66.
  67. Happens a lot. They search for domains with a local extension,
  68. but with the .com not taken.
  69. They register it, redirect, and of course, send some fake traffic.
  70. Makes it look like a nice deal to buy the domain.
  71. Once you buy, no more traffic.
  72. Works like a charm :)
  73. For a referrer tag a visitor needs to click on a link on the site.
  74. Since it's a 301 redirect, no clicks on links, no referrer tag.
  75. They will probably contact you and try to sell you the .com domain.
