JUST GO TO PHYSICAL THERAPY

Alexithymiaa: -Steph had been in and out of the booth all evening recording and mixing and layering the tracks trying to get some things together to send to the label so they could have a real producer mix the music for them since shes kinda eh at it. Sitting at the mixer at the moment, she had headphones looped around her head as she listened to one of the songs she'd been trying to lock down, chewing on the inside of her cheek completely enveloped in her work.-
Covet: Felix had been waiting at the house for Steph, but it was getting late and she still hadn't made it home for dinner. So he'd put what he made into a couple of tupperware dishes and made his way down to the studio. He walked in with a bag that contained the food, drinks and utensils, and made his way into the back to hunt Steph down.
Alexithymiaa: -She tugged her headphones off and rubbed her ear with most of the piercings on it, setting the headphones down in front of her. Covet: Felix leaned in the doorway and listened to the music as it played over the sound system. He smiled and waited until it was done and spoke up, "Wow, that's what those weeks laid up in bed did for you. I'm impressed. And you said Being in bed was lazy." Felix smirked and walked over to her.
Alexithymiaa: -She turned around to look at Felix, her eyes dropping to the bag in his hand with dinner it. "Oh my god, I'm sorry. I lost track of time." She pushed up from the chair and leaned in to give him a kiss. "Being in bed is lazy. I tried to make the most of it. You like it?"-
Covet: "I love it, that sounded fucking awesome." He told her as he sat down next to her. "It's okay, I brought dinner with me. Some stirfried greenbeans, broccoli, carrots, pea pods and grape tomatoes, then I brought a little bit of rice too, and a couple of waters." He said as he started getting the foods out, handing her a pair of chopsticks. He figured they could just share the containers.
Alexithymiaa: "Oh wow, you went hard." She said, taking her seat again and taking the chpsticks from him. "The kittens like the idea of going a bit more electronic with our sound, so I've been working on figuring that out since it's still pretty new to me. We did lay tracks for one other song though."-
Covet: "Not really, It was all fairly cheap stuff that I threw together. Figured I could use a veggie night as well." He told her with a smile as he dug into some of the rice with his chopsticks. " Oh You're going electronic for this? I am all for this, hands down."
Alexithymiaa: "You could always use a veggie night." She corrected, playing with the chopsticks a bit before picking up a green bean to put in her mouth. "Yeah, it was something I was leaning towards and they were really open and receptive to it. We actually brainstormed some ideas for an actual collab lyrical effort. They kind of suck with lyrics, but we've got a lot of ideas from everyone that I think I can make work."-
CovetCovet : "One a weeks is good." He told her as he reached over for some broccoli. "I think you'll be onto something here, with this. If this is what the first peice sounds like." Felix nodded as he munched away.
Alexithymiaa: "I hope so. I've written so much..." She started, looking down at her notebook that was settled on the mixer. "Do you want to hear the other one I mixed today? That was the first one I wrote when I was on bed rest."-
Covet: "Absofuckinglutely." He said with a mouthful as he nodded his head. "Let's hear it."
Alexithymiaa: -She picked up a small piece of broccoli to fit into her mouth before setting the container down, hitting a few buttons on the mixer to switch to the previously recorded track. Covet: "Wow, That one is great too." Felix said with excitement. "I think this album is definitely going to top your first one. At least twice over." He said with a confident nod.
Alexithymiaa: "Well that's kind of the point. No use in making music I don't think is better than what we've made in the past." She said with a shrug. "That's all I have laid out right now. I have a lot of lyrics written, but nothing else has any music yet." She picked up her container, taking another veggie to pop into her mouth.-
Covet: "Hey, you've been productive, and that's good." He said with a smile, "I'm proud of you." Felix said reaching over to mess up her hair to be a butthead.
Alexithymiaa: "Hey!" She yelled, moving her hands to smooth out her hair some. "Well Alex is coming in Thursday morning so we can spend an entire long weekend writing together and hopefully he can help me out. He just has more experience than I do so he's a good tool."-
CovetCovet : "Ha, I'm telling him you called him a tool" Felix said with a smirk as he went about inhaling more food. "That's cool I'm glad you guys are getting to work together on something, again."
Alexithymiaa: "What, do you think he's going to take offense to that? He'd probably be the first one to admit he's a tool." She said with a laugh. "Yeah, I think we work well together and if there's anyone that's going to help me translate brain thoughts into a powerful song, it's going to be him."-
Covet: "This is true." Felix said with a nod then sat back in the chair with his arms up over his head. It was painful, but at least he could do it. "Yeah, and he'll make sure that it comes out sounding just like you want it too."
Alexithymiaa: "Exactly. If I'm going to do it, it has to be perfect. Otherwise it's never going to see the light of day." She nodded, her eyes watching his arm and his shoulder. "I was also hoping to sucker Lisa into helping with some wedding stuff. That's what she does. She's a wedding planner."-
Covet: "Oh yeah? Hey, I'm sure she'd happily pitch in. That gets me off the hook for things too. I want to go out again and find our perfect place." He said to her, keeping his arm up over his head even if it was starting to throb already.
Alexithymiaa: "Of course, but that doesnt mean you're not going to do this with me. She's just going to guide us in a few good directions." She spoke, continuing to watch his arm. "When is your appointment?"-
Covet: "Tomorrow." He mumbled begrudgingly, then had to bring his arm back down, trying to make it seem like it wasn't bothering him.
Alexithymiaa: "Uhuh... and do I have to drop you off and pick you up to make sure you actually go?" She asked with a raise of her brows.-
Covet: "No, I'll go just fine. I'll even take a picture to send you to show you that I went." Felix said slumping down in his seat, a slight annoyed tone to his voice.
Alexithymiaa: "What's your deal with this?" She asked with actually no attitude, surprisingly enough. "I dont really get why you're so apprehensive about going. You know it's going to help you. You know the science behind why it's important you go..."-
Covet: "I'm not apprhensive, I just think it's a waste of time. I know what I need to do to get it back to where I want it. So I'm just going to be bored, and they're just going to baby me and not push me to my full limitations." Felix said in a dramatic exhausted tone.
Alexithymiaa: "I don't think you know what your limitations actually are right now. Plus they have equipment there you wouldn't have access to otherwise so just think of it like putting up with listening to someone talk in order to gain access to their equipment." she paused, trying to find some comic relief. "Think of it like me."-
Covet: "I don't want to think of it like you. I like you, I don't want to hate you, like I will this." Felix said with a pout.
Alexithymiaa: "It was more of a you listen to me talk in order to gain access to my equipment joke, but I appreciate the affectionate comment." She got up from her chair, shifting over to sit across his lap, stroking her hand back over his hair. "It's not going to be as bad as you think it will be."-
CovetCovet : Felix snickered, "Access to your equipment. Nice." He put his arms around her waist and gave her a pout, "But what if it is?"
Alexithymiaa: "Well then you can take comfort in knowing your time was never really worth anything in the first place so you couldn't possibly be wasting it." She said with a wide grin, looking down at him all cheesy assholeish.-
Covet: "Ouch. That was harsh." He said putting a hand to his chest, then gave her a dirty look for being a shit.
Alexithymiaa: -She started to laugh, leaning in to give him a quick kiss. "You'll live. Which is the same exact thing I'm going to say tomorrow when you start kicking and screaming right before its time for you to leave for your appointment."-
Covet: Felix just stuck his tongue out at her then pulled her in to growl and playfully bite at her neck, because that sounded way better than talking about miserable physical therapy.
Alexithymiaa: -She broke into laughter when he started getting playful with her, giving him a nudge. "Okay okay how about I clean up and save what I was working on and we go home so we can get nice and warm and everyone can take their pants off?"-
Covet: "Yes. I agree and second this motion. I have a need. A need to be freed of these pants." He said nodding his head as he pulled back.
Alexithymiaa: "I understand this need on a molecular level." she said as she stood up, leaning over the mixer to start saving and shutting everything down. She wasnt even wearing pants, I dont know what the bitching is about. "And maybe you'll get a reward tomorrow for cooperating with physical therapy."-
Covet: "Oooh, Now see, that's providing the proper incentives there." Felix said with a smug look as he got up. "I'm going to go out and get the vehicles warmed up, See you out there shortly?" He said, leaning down to give her a quick kiss before heading for the exit to do manly car things.
