  1. 10 years ago getting your hands on the latest gaming mouse was but a mere dream! Luckily for us gamers, today's market is flooded with seemingly a new gaming mouse released every week! But with so many mice being released... How do you know which is best for dominating the FPS games of today?! We're here to help! Whether its comfort, function or fashion you desire there is a mouse on the market that will suit your needs:
  2.
  3. SUBTITLE: The Razer DeathAdder
  4. The best-selling mouse on the market today, the Razer DeathAdder. This Jack-of-all-trades mouse from Razer is the core of their peripherals selection. The DeathAdder series of mice has a range of different models in the series, including a Fade edition for you CS GO players, however each only slightly differing from each other hence the group selection on our list. Simple in design with a comfortable ergonomic feel and rubber grips for a nice hold it's easy to see why the DeathAdder is the most well known mouse of all time. Included with all versions of the mouse is the fantastic Razer Synapse software allowing precise DPI customisation, so whatever your sensitivity preference, Razer has you covered! The DeathAdder series also comes with 2 customisable side buttons but does not offer much else in terms of extra buttons or features. It's simplistic charm and relatively modest price point has propelled the DeathAdder into the tip top of gaming mice sales.

  7. Honorable Mention: The Razer Naga
  8. The father of the DeathAdder series the Naga offers similar performance as the DeathAdder with a slightly bulkier design. The extra bulk is necessary as the Razer Naga boasts an amazing 12 customisable buttons in a grid on the side of the mouse. You'll never need to scroll through your gadgets again with every possible key assigned to one of the 12 you'll hardly need your keyboard!
  9. Overall Rating/10: Value: 7/10 - Performance: 8/10 - Overall: 7.5/10

  11. SUBTITLE: The Finalmouse
  12. Compared to the peripheral giants of Razer and Logitech, Finalmouse is the younger brother of the group but don't let that deter you as the Finalmouse has seen historic levels of growth, catapulting itself to the high life of mice sales. Similar to the DeathAdder the Finalmouse is a small, ergonomic size with 2 customisable side buttons very similar to the DeathAdder. On the top of the mouse is a DPI switcher button allowing the user to switch on the fly between 400, 800, 1200 and 1600 DPI. While not as precise as the Razer's software model, for an introductory lesson to the world of high level gaming the Finalmouse is fantastic. The braided cable reduces the chance of frayed wires (the blue screen of death for gaming mice) and boasting an exact 1:1 burst motion ratio the Finalmouse rivals any mouse on the market for sheer precision, and at a mid level price point you wont be left wanting with the Finalmouse.
  13. Overall Rating/10: Value: 8/10 - Performance: 7.5/10 - Overall: 7.8/10

  15. SUBTITLE: The Logitech G502: Proteus Spectrum
  16. Now you may be wondering.. If the Razer DeathAdder series is being grouped together why not the Logitech G-Series? Let me explain.. Logitech G-Series mice while in a similar vein as one another are designed with very different uses in mind. For destroying the competition in the FPS market the G502 Proteus Spectum RGB edition is the leader of the pack for Logitech. Visually the design is stunning. The solid, almost bulky looking design Logitech are known for differs greatly from the smaller mice offered by those such as Razer and Finalmouse. In terms of customisation, Logitech's built in software offers almost unlimited control of the mouse, offering 1 by 1 changes in DPI for you to fine tune your FPS experience. For you fashionistas out there the 502 offers a staggering 16.8 MILLION different colours to customise your lighting to.. That's more colours than we can count! In terms of customisable buttons the G502 has an equally incredible 11 programmable buttons! Who needs a keyboard anyway?! While this may make the mouse difficult to navigate in the beginning (remembering which of your 11 buttons does what may take you some time), once you get the hang of it those extra shortcuts will give you your competitive edge on the competition! While priced slightly higher than the previous examples in our list the Logitech G502 certainly delivers an incredible experience for those willing to commit to the purchase!
  17. Overall Rating/10: Value: 8/10 - Performance: 9/10 - Overall: 8.5/10

  19. SUBTITLE: The Nexeus REVEL Gaming Mouse
  20. The dark horse of the competition. Most of you won't even have heard of Nixeus however if you're a gamer on a budget a Nixeus REVEL is a fantastic option. Offering 8 Preset DPI settings ranging from 400-12000 DPI for on the fly switching. The Nixeus also offers an impressive 1ms response rate ensuring the quickest input response time possible. For a mouse almost half in price of it's competitors the Nixeus REVEL really does keep up with the best of them and would be a great addition to any aspiring gamer's arsenal.
  21. Overall Rating/10: Value: 10/10 - Performance: 6/10 - Overall: 8/10

  23. SUBTITLE: The SteelSeries Rival 300
  24. Coming in a range of colours fit for any rainbow, the SteelSeries Rival 300 offers 6 programmable buttons and was recently voted the Players Choice Mouse of the Game by Overwatch players. In a twitch shooter situation response times can mean the difference between life and death and the SteelSeries Rival 300 is unmatched in response times. SteelSeries has been breaking records in the peripheral world with a record uprising, sponsoring many pro teams across a range of games, showing the true versatility that the Rival series provides. Whether you're sneaking up to assassinate an opponent or guns blazing your way into an objective, the SteelSeries Rival 300 will not leave you wanting and at a cheaper rate
  25. Overall Rating/10: Value: 9/10 - Performance: 8/10 - Overall: 8.5/10

  27. FINAL VERDICT: In today's market it is hard to go wrong with multiple companies producing quality products on a consistent basis, making personal preference a big factor in your decision. Maybe you would like extra side buttons to customise your controls? Or that extra DPI to really home in your sensitivity settings. One things for sure with any of the products above you can't go far wrong on the fields of justice!
