- [13:10] A hand is quietly stretched out to grab Anna's. A small smile offered towards her in the process, showing just how happy Bruno seemed to be at the moment.
- "Have you slept well?" He asked, unleashing a question laced with implications.
- (Bruno pyr Aertas)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [13:15] Anna smiles back towards him, moving towards him as he takes hold of her hand. She leans herself against him contentedly.
- "I did. Last night was.." A 91 out of 100. "Great." She says, a faint touch of pink coloring her face. "We should set the date for as soon as possible."
- (Anna)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [13:19] Bruno leaned against her in return. This leap they took was the difficult part. Accepting what came next would be much easier, would it not? Their experience was something the Aertas had never thought he'd regret taking so much time engaging into.
- In short? He was human. No matter how much he criticized the sin of flesh he finally had proven to himself that he was a fool in the matter. Evolution. It humbled him, even if only towards Anna.
- The tinge of heat spread upon her cheeks would be graced with a kiss before he asked a question.
- "For the date we've never had or our wedding?"
- (Bruno pyr Aertas)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [13:27] As clinical as she tended to be towards relationships, right now was an emotional high for her. "Hm. Both." She says towards him, a faint nod being provided.
- She moves towards him, placing herself comfortably between him and the sea-side railing, where she remains nestled against him. "That isn't too fast anymore, right?"
- (Anna)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [13:33] Words could be spoken, yet what almost became a dent in their relationship had been the lack of action following those words. Bruno shook his head lightly to her question, allowing her to slip before him, drawing all of his attention. Was it the emotional high that brought him to lean up against her? Was their previous night the reason both his hands rose up to cup her cheeks? It was hard to tell, but Bruno's answer came in the form of his lips moving to claim hers. Once. Twice. Thrice. A barrage of kisses that crossed over into the territory of making out when silence made itself king, and his love shied no longer.
- How could one go too fast when all that remained was a ring-bound last stretch?
- (Bruno pyr Aertas)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [13:53] Anna meets his gaze pensively, her small smile brightening noticeably as he shook his head at her question. Meeting his barrage of kisses willfully, and even participating in what that barrage turned into afterwards, though it isn't long before she pulls away from him.
- "We have a professional and personal reputation to maintain still, Bruno. If we're going to engage in activities of this nature, we should go inside."
- She set her fingers against his cheek in a fond caress. "Will you make the necessary preparations for the important proceedings?" She knew how important the Aertas name was for him. How much he required things to be just so.
- (Anna)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [14:00] This maelstrom of affection found itself slowing down with a reminder of hers for them not to act like beasts. To have a bit of etiquette in public. She was always there to re-align his loss of control, even slight ones like that would only reach the superego. A blessing. His right hand grazed against her skin, fingers tucking stray strands of hair behind her ear as he nods, answering.
- "I will. I do not wish for a great ceremony. In fact, I believe the most efficient and less frivolous way to go about it would be to cover merely the legal and official aspect without the need for anything more than the required witness for us to marry."
- A bit bland. Boring. No great bride's day, no white dress needed, no unveiling. Yet it was all too much like Bruno. That is... until he allowed his newfound comfort in their relationship to accept less than optimal scenarios.
- "... Although if you want us to have a ceremony, I suppose we can."
- Blue eyes remained locked upon brown hues, peering through those glasses that constituted a recently realized preference.
- (Bruno pyr Aertas)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [14:09] It was her job to keep him grounded, to make sure that he maintained himself while also nudging him in the right direction if he ever strayed. It had been such when she learned of his proclivity to occasionally indulge in wild, emotion driven ideas.
- She smiles towards him, shaking her head slowly. "No, forgoing the grand ceremony is fine with me if you think it the best way to go about it." She says towards him.
- Anna expected him to want a grand ceremony, to show the world the power and wealth of the Aertas name, but if he'd rather make it more personal, more about them? She would never say no to that.
- (Anna)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [14:16] "I believe a simple announcement of our union after the fact is most efficient in terms of wealth, speed, and power. The world will know to respect your name and understand the point of it all. No nuances."
- Yet he would ensure to mention they accept gifts from those who wished to shower them with riches. Why would they look away from free wealth? In his current position with Anna leaning back against the railing a single question came, if only to properly do things.
- "Anastasia van Winkle."
- He took a step back from her, lowering himself to one knee.
- "I intend to only present a ring worth what I bear for you. Will you marry me, knowing fully that you will have to wait for the proper ring to be placed around your finger? Will you marry me, and take upon the noble name of Aertas now, and forever?
- Will you marry me, and...
- ..."
- He was at a loss for words, though a lesson from the impulsive Ryker was the only thing that came to mind in his despair: The Kitsune would know how to handle silence.
- "Just marry me already."
- (Bruno pyr Aertas)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [14:53] Anna inhales briefly as he drops to one knee in front of her. Her heart beginning to thump in increasing tempo. Looking back on it, she wouldn't even understand why that simple act would set her heart to racing so.
- She had known that this would be coming eventually. That the day would come when she and him would be bound together forever. Perhaps he was right. Maybe she was being more emotional than usual as of late. Then she laughed, the sound of it ringing with an excited joy.
- Instead of answering him with words, she leans down to kiss him with a fervent adoration. That connection between them wasn't something that lingered for very long, her hands moving to cup his face between frigid fingers.
- "Yes! Of course I will Bruno!" She exclaims down towards him, a smile beaming from her countenance as she gazes at him.
- (Anna)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [15:01] Mere formalities had brought more joy upon Anna's face than he thought they would. Perhaps there was a certain beauty with tradition of love. A reason humanity, despite its flaws, never grew tired of affection being expressed in a certain way.
- It's with a dirtied knee that he leaned up a bit as her lips left his, wanting more. More of her lips, of her taste, of her smile. Was it a bad thing that he finally allowed himself to grow softer? He always teased Matryona over it.
- Maybe an apology was due.
- Rising up to his feet after her overjoyed response the Aertas brought both his hands upon her frigid form, right upon her rear in order to hoist her up. To hold her as close as he could not to kiss her, but to lean against her. To love her.
- Paperwork and official statements could wait.
- A quiet question passed through his mind.
- "Were you fond of me before I allowed you to fall?"
- Shedefinitely knew he had been. She even pointed it out at the very dawn of their relationship.
