[Overview]

<p>Fearow at first glance looks like your average Normal / Flying Pokemon.  Fearow has access to a decent base 100 Speed and base 90 Attack. Although many may see Swellow as a faster and stronger version of Fearow, they often forget that Fearow has access to Drill Run.  Fearow is the only Flying-type Pokemon that gains Drill Run. Drill Run allows Fearow to heavily dent bulky Rock-types like Relicanth and Golem, as well as bulky Steel-types like Metang. Fearow is also gifted with Sniper, which when paired with Drill Run can be exceedingly deadly. With a Choice Band, Fearow becomes somewhat powerful. The downsides to Fearow are that with Sniper it is unable to learn Brave Bird, making it inferior to Swellow and Braviary. Fearow also has a weakness to the ubiquitous Stealth Rock as well as having poor defenses, truly making him a glass cannon. However, when played to its strengths, Fearow can really put "fear" into its opponents.</p>

<p>For any Pokemon with decent Speed and Attack, a Choice Band is always a viable option. Sniper is generally the better ability, as Keen Eye rarely has use in the NU tier.
