- Disclaimer: Make no mistake, this patch fixed A LOT of the huge problems plaguing this port (save crashing, Final Xemnas RC fail, some physics problems), which is fantastic. Sadly though, a couple new bugs so far are showing up due to Square not paying attention or simply testing a fight. We're close to a solid port of all these games, just a bit more pushing left while they're listening! Remember that just because some bugs/glitches/crashes are small, rare, or make things easier or harder does not justify the game not working as intended.
- PATCH 1.03 NOTES:
- -Adjusted player movement and actions in KINGDOM HEARTS and KINGDOM HEARTS II to accommodate 60fps
- -Adjusted KINGDOM HEARTS II battle feature
- -Fixed KINGDOM HEARTS II application error upon saving
- -Adjusted KINGDOM HEARTS camera speed
- -Fixed other various issues

- CONFIRMED BY ME PERSONALLY:
- -Final Xemnas RC finally fixed, it's been broken since PS3 port
- -Save crashing fixed (no proof of anyone save crashing yet since patch, but hard to test, assuming this is fixed via patch notes)
- -Quick Run now back to its former glory from PS2, it goes just as far and fast now
- -Enemies now launch properly backwards from attacks (such as letting you do a stalled Magnet Splash on Terra after Aerial Finish!)
- -Many animations bumped up from 30fps to 60fps (Magnet, Explosion, Luxord's cards, 1k Heartless background enemies, etc)
- -Grim Reaper 2's RC is now fixed (and faster, probably due to PS4 speed!)
- -Timeless River RC now works again
- -Terra's punch can now be Guarded safely, however, they way they fixed it is wonky and still does not work same as PS2/PS3, they
- seemingly either added more iframes to the Guard or less hitboxes at the end of the move
- -Lock/Shock/Barrel boxes launch properly now as well
- NEW BUGS:
- -Magnet, Chicken Little, Master Genie Finisher, Demyx's Wild Dance RC brings in enemies MUCH slower (clearly not intentional)
- -Luxord's cards on ground do not move properly anymore
- Note: We think the two above may be yet another side effect of bumping things up to 60fps without accommodating...again
- -Sniper's Warp Strike is now broken and useless. It does not properly reflect the snipe back at enemies (Xigbar's is fine though)
- -Terra now fails to teleport properly during his punch move spam in last phase, and during his teleport seal attempts he falls way
- short
- -Marluxia's teleport when he goes to do his pool attack is completely messed up, the animation of him appearing in the center is there,
- but Marluxia ends up on the left or right side instead
- -Session is messed up a bit, especially opening, Riku teleports to wrong areas to attack
- UNCHANGED:
- -Audio problems NOT fixed yet
- -Duck Flare on English still lasts way longer than JP (people can't figure out if this is good or bad, to me I'd prefer Duck Flare to just be consistent, but it existing isn't a disadvantage)
- -Still no soft reset (lmao plz why Square)
- -Using Blizzaga finishers on Axel when you hit his RV still forces him into the wall
- -Gummi Missions lack of iframes still exists and certain projectiles move too fast
- -Experiment crash still exists, not sure but it could be harder to trigger now. I could only get it by doing RC against wall
- -Xigbar crash still exists
- UNCONFIRMED BY ME (don't assume these are fixed without proof imo):
- -Final Form Firaga is back to normal (Reported by Mace)
- Kingdom Hearts Final Mix
- CONFIRMED BY ME PERSONALLY:
- -Sephiroth Octaslash no longer gets stuck on you, so you can dodge roll it like on PS3, it also travels normal distance
- Note: You can't do jump parry + dodge roll strat from PS3, though, it hits you before you can Dodge Roll /shrug
- -Sephiroth meteors fixed back to normal speed (haven't tested if they are still random speed though or constant now)
- -Camera is different, as patch notes state, but did not mess with it much, likely only slightly different, worked fine for me
- -Hercules spin attack fixed
- -Kurt Zisa's horizontal spinning attack appears fixed to where it's back to normal (close to ground, so can High Jump it fine)
- -Simba crash appears fixed, both Sonic and myself had Simba jump during fight fadeout without crashing in Agrabah
- -Wakka ball throw distance fixed (I could be wrong, but now you have to be pretty close now to hit him with ball though???)
- UNCHANGED:
- -Damage Storage still works with Summons (didn't test magic, but just assumed)
- -Sora still stutters Dodge Rolling into cutscenes (also prevents Infinite Roll Glitch still)
- -Sewer clip on English still works
- -Still various tiny physics problems with Sora's movement (aka Dodge Rolling tables in Wonderland)
- -Audio still NOT fixed yet
- -Oathkeeper cutscene glitch still exists (phew, harmless hilarious glitch)
- -iframes still do not last long as on PS2/PS3 during Gummi Missions
- UNCONFIRMED BY ME (don't assume these are fixed without proof imo):
- -Dalmatian Chest crash still exists (reported by SonicShadowSilver2)
- -Riku Ansem's DM still too fast (reported by SonicShadowSilver2)
- Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep
- UNCONFIRMED BY ME:
- -Terra's Vanitas & Xehanort crash on PS4 Pro fixed now (reported by SonicShadowSilver2)
- -Tornados on Japanese version in Keyblade Graveyard now are same as English speed (reported by SonicShadowSilver2)
