Ch 10
You talk to Charlie and decide to go searching for the arrowhead with the cute niffler in the FF
Ben pretty much admits he's hiding something from you about why he's afraid of R but won't tell you what
When in the forest, you enter red caps hole and the niffler finds something (I think it's a necklace) but not the Arrowhead. Then a red cap shows up
Red caps are creatures that lurk in battlefields and other places where blood has been shed. Then they kill you. So they ran when they saw it
You return to the library with your friends to figure out how to get past the red cap because you think the Arrowhead is in there
You find out that red caps hate things that are beautiful. So you decide to brew a beautification potion with Penny's help to get rid of the red cap
End of Ch 10

Ch 11
You meet with Penny in the great Hall and convince her to help you
Then you go on a search for ingredienrs
You get two from herbology. Then you get another from Hagrid (you finally go to his hut)
You also get fairy wings from CoMC
In CoMC Merula asks you how the search for the vault is going and let's slip Madame rakepick has tasked her with keeping tabs on your progress
She says she's doing it because "I do what needs to be done. You have no clue what's really going on in this school."
You also go into the FF to find some unicorn hair for the potion (but not red caps hole)
You brew the potion with Penny, after which she asks a very telling question that makes me wonder what's going on with her. She asks "what if your brother doesn't want to be found"
Then she says "I just know sometimes people disappear for a reason"
"I hope you find him. I just hope he's the same person you remember"
Then, when you're about to enter the forest on your broom. Snape catches you and breaks your broom

Ch 12
you meet Snape after potions and he tells you he only did that to make rakepick (whom he asserts has been watching you since she set foot on the grounds) think snape and MC are at odds
Snape says he'll give you the broom back (I guess he can do reparo On it) if you spy on rakepick for him
Snape has you do this because he wants to uncover her true motivations for being at hogwarts
He gives you a note and tells you to fetch certain potion ingredients at specific times. He says to do so because rakepick will be at those locations at those timss
First, he goes to the great Hall where rakepick is interrogating filtch about where he found her key. She threatens him and Mrs. Norris to get him to talk
He says there was mysterious package in his office years ago with three black quills and that key
Next you go to the 3 broomsticks where rakepick is interrogating Rosmerta. Rosmerta does not appreciate this and is very spicy
Rakepick apparently knows Jacob transfigured his notes into a black quoll
And that he left it at the three broomsticks
Rosmerta didn't reply. Then rakepick asks if Jacob also left a map
A map of Hogwarts. And of the grounds. It sounds like the mauruders map
She says "Mr filtch confiscated it years ago but it is no longer in his office"
Rosemerta claims ignorance
Rakepick wants to check rosmertas storeroom.
Rosmerta says "over my dead body" and threatens to involve customers who work at the ministry of magic
Hagrid mentions "I heard rumors of her sometimes running with a group who had a magical map back when she was a student"
Then MC follows rakepick to the hospital wing. She is asking about sleepwalking students. She also addresses MC and says "give Severus Snape my regards". She knows you were following her
Then you report back to snaps
Snape mentions his suspicion that at least one of her co conspirators is in Slytherin and warns MC to not discuss Shapes mission around fellow studwnts
You tell Snape what you learned and Snape reveals he knew that rakepick knew MC was sent to spy on her
Snape shares his opinion that rakepick said what she wanted him to hear
MC feels used
But he rewards you. You get HP and he also gives you a beaker of garroting gas (which causes anyone who breathes it to choke)
He says it may save MC's life
Because rakepick may try to kill MC
Snape tells MC to continue to follow his orderes and he will teach MC a curse he invented that he has never shown anyone

Ch 13
You meet with Charlie to discuss your plan for the redcap. You also pick someone to bring with you and go to the 3 broomsticks to meet them
Upon entering, rosmerta asks you to tell her if rakepick ever bothers you
You convince the person to go with you
You go to red caps hole. You throw the potion on the red cap who looks at his reflection in a mirror and is horrified and runs away
You find the arrowhead
You give the Arrowhead to torvus
He thinks his heard might take him back
You ask him to take you to the vault. He says you need to get Hagrid first
He doesn't actually say why, but it seems likely it's because you need to go into the acromantula's lair. It's in the forbidden forest area and the only part of the forest that doesn't open  in a future year
