- >Episode 5 aired!
- How did you enjoy episode 5, "This Irritation is Disillusionment"?
- Futase Fumio, the author of the wixoss novelizaion.
- As it turns out, behind that name was a high school girl.
- According to Yuzuki, she attends a high school that she'd never be able to get into.
- Not only is she a popular author, she's not bad looking either.
- We also got the first appearance of Futase Fumio's LRIG, Ann.
- She's a green LRIG with traditional Japanese wear and a traditional air.
- She requires Green and White Ener to grow.
- >A battle with Futase Fumio to discover the truth!
- >"Please be gentle with me"
- Ann begins with a confident look and greeting. She owes it to her no-loss streak.
- Ruuko goes first. She summons Triumph and Grey on her first turn.
- The turn immediately after.
- Futase uses Fallen/Depravity to banish Ruuko's Triumph.
- She didn't hesitate at all from the first turn.
- (There was a mistake in the LRIG card while airing which was fixed from 11/17 at 18:30 on)
- This was the board layout at the time.
- Futase used Charging during her first turn.
- Banish Pyuri with Slash Miracle!
- Ruuko returns the banish without giving an inch.
- >"Well then, I use Puri's ability to add Surrelis to my hand" Futase responds calmly.
- The SIGNI Ruuko banished, Innocuous Match Puri, has the ability to search for Unresolved Deviation Surrelis by paying a cost.
- This was the reason she used Charging on her previous turn, I see.
- <Beautiful Technique> SIGNI's specialty is to accept and respond to their opponents, which Futase uses skillfully.
- Unable to play seriously, Ruuko proceeds to the second half of the battle.
- >Down to the wire. And then, Iona becomes Level 5
- Ann's fifth turn.
- She uses the Arts Big Wave and Gothic Boundary to crash her Life Cloth.
- Iona is left with 0 Life Cloth. It's the end of the line.
- And then, Iona's turn.
- In response to Ruuko's call, she Grows to the unprecedented Level 5.
- She turns the situation of ultimate despair around and goes on the attack. Doesn't she look so flashy and gorgeous?
- The layout after she grew to level 5.
- Ultima Maiden Iona's power forces each player to use no more than a single SIGNI. Because she already had three out, she was forced to trash two of them.
- Because this ability changes the rules, even Inexplicable Superboast Contempora was forced to be trashed. How powerful.
- The remaining Contempora was banished by Death Beam, and Ann's Life Cloth were crashed all at once, and then her turn ended.
- She also used two Charging to prepare for the next turn.
- It is then Ann's turn.
- During her Attack Phase Iona uses Dark Matter, which cleared both SIGNI zones. In addition she gets another Life Cloth. It's a total turnaround!
- Ann ends her turn in the worst possible position.
- The final turn.
- Without a single Art left, Ann has no way of defending herself.
- With the summoning of Babel, Ruuko and Iona reach victory.
- Level 5 Iona, as well as the perfect addition Dark Matter, are included in the fourth wave, so for those of you with Iona decks, please check it out!
- Ann unfortunately lost, but perhaps the result would've been different if she had the Beautiful Technique cards that will soon be released.
- We will be periodically releasing information about the new Beautiful Technique cards on the official site, so keep your eyes peeled.
- >Futase Fumio's true identity
- Futase Fumio was originally a LRIG by the name of "Futase".
- Her Selector's name was "Fumio".
- Her wish was "To become an author".
- Futase is now called "Futase Fumio", and is working to grant that wish.
- Why did she decide to write her novels about Selectors?
- Why is she continuing to battle even now?
- The mysteries continue to deepen, so look forward to next week!
