- EN Weapons
- Some weapons draw energy from a mechs internal power supply rather than from an outside source like ammunition. These weapons are referred to as EN weapons. When you use a energy weapon, you roll your EN. If you beat the weapons DC, nothing happens. If you fail, you take EN exhaustion as per the following chart.
- You cannot botch EN Saves.
- EN SAVING THROW EFFECT
- Succeeds No Effect
- Fails by 9 or Less: Drained
- Fails by 10 or more: Drained + Drained
- Fails by 15 or more: Fatigued + Drained
- Drained: A Drained Mech, is one that has drained of a signifigant portion of it's energy reserves. Each drained condition imposes a -1 on further EN saves for the Mech.
- Fatigued: 'Fatigued' mecha cannot move all out or charge and suffer a –2 penalty to effective Strength and Dexterity and a –1 penalty on attack and defense. Failing a maneuvering check while fatigued makes the mecha Exhausted.
- Exhausted: 'Exhausted' mecha move at half normal speed and suffer a –6 penalty to effective Strength and Dexterity and a –3 penalty on attack and defense Failing a maneuvering check while Exhausted imposes the Disabled condition. If the mecha was already Disabled when becoming Exhausted, it instead becomes Dying.
