Personality ➳ Wenyu genuinely trusts her group members, so she can show her actual personality on camera more than the other girls. She’s very curious and won’t be afraid to cross a line to figure something out, which can get her into deep trouble, especially with everything going on. Even if none of the girls seem to want to socialize with her, she tries her best to be patient with them and tells herself that they’ll come around, very optimistic, you could say. She can get on everyone’s nerve quite often for this childlike act, but she always follows her gut feeling. She’ll always wait for the right time to say what she’s sure of.
Background ➳ Wenyu wasn’t actually born in China, she was born in Korea four years after her parents moved. They were a hectic couple, usually fighting (verbally), which wasn’t healthy for Wenyu or her sister to hear. Discussing it out with her grandparents, the two girls were planned to attend an all-girls boarding school. Wenyu, however, had already landed her spot as a trainee, giving her small excuses from school. Of course, she still went, but most of her time was spent planning her debut on Ro5e. She didn’t have many friends except for her sister, so she wasn’t exposed to proper teenage attitude, so she became the gullible, childish woman she is today.

She decided to take a walk in the park to clear her mind a bit, to de-stress. Coincidentally, she saw all of GOT7 out eating ice cream together. It seemed they were trying to take a group photo. She offered to take the picture, in which they accepted. Yugyeom especially found her intriguing, so he asked for her number on the spot. Wenyu obliged awkwardly, but the two hit it off well. The two were ones who developed crushes easily, so their ‘crush’ phase didn’t last long before they started to date. Indeed, they’re a cute couple, but maybe a little inconvenient for what was going on with Ro5e.
First impressions of them ➳ Wenyu thought he was very blunt and forward that day at the park, but she thought he was cute.
