BS ENTER leaps into view, taking only two bounds to centre stage. His chest heaves and his saliva is forcibly exhaled through a toothy snarl.
BS YELL To me, Gaudiguch! Ziamu Firetail fights for the freedom of Gaudiguch's citizens and from the tyranny of Hallifax!
BS EMOTE (Still heaving and drooling,) places his hands on his hips and walks one large circle around his pyrocannon, scanning his surroundings, staring down members of the audience. He stops facing the sun, his tattered clothing and feral form are fully realised.
BS EMOTE (With a dramatic sigh,) calms his breathing.
BS SAY (Staring into the sun, his eyes never blinking) The year 471 was a massacre. Countless of Gaudiguch's finest are gone, including my pa'. He's forever trapped under what's left of the Great Pyramid. His makeshift catacombs were forged in the first explosion.
BS SAY I came to Gaudiguch in Shanthin, searching for answers. What happened? Who's responsible? Most importantly, how will they pay?
BS SAY (With a heavy groan) And you know what I found there?
BS SAY Every institution in Gaudiguch had fallen, and idle leaders were taking preying on a populace still digging their friends and family out of the wreckage. The Guardian Drachou was weak, dying.
BS YELL OUTRAGEOUS!
BS SAY Nobody had answers for me. Nobody had the time. So with no justice in sight, I brought the revolution to the people! I called for the blood of the guilty, for answers, for the end to tyrannical regimes.
BS EMOTE dusts himself off, a cloud of soot billowing forth.
BS SAY I've whipped those old fornicators and ecstatic readers into a frenzy. Warriors, drunks with broken beer bottles, rascals with slingshots and debris from the pyramids followed my call to arms.
BS SAY (Looking directly to the audience,) Thanks to the aid of Breandryn and her cohorts, we gained valuable information by infiltrating Hallifax as custodians. Shuyin, Enadonella, Danquik, and Yamok Greybelt have joined the mob as well.
BS SAY We'll find our own vengeance, here on the battlefield.
BS EMOTE snaps his head to the right, a wild look in his eyes. Over his shoulder he hollers, "Yamok, I am here! Rally to me!"
BS EMOTE (Seething again,) swells his chest, pounding on it twice, and begins to circle around the pyrocannon.
BS EMOTE licks his lips, savouring the long fabric wick that dangles from the contraption.
BS SING We stand for Gaudiguch here, to ensure equality for all, but since we're run out of beer.
BS YELL THERE'S GONNA BE A BRAWL!
BS EMOTE draws a small, ember lizard from his trousers. Excitement takes his face as he yanks the lizard's tail, a burp of flame igniting the fuse.
