 ✧　 .. ˚ #PERSONALITY: Hai Rong is very unorganised, often losing or misplacing things around the place. You can generally never rely on her to remember things because there is no doubt that she will forget. Despite being very disorganised, she is actually quite a diligent person in other areas, she is good at making sure that others are on track and she possesses many leader-like qualities. One of these qualities is the fact that she is a very trustworthy person and whatever you say to her, you can trust that it will stay between the two of you. She values dignity and loyalty and feels that telling someone else's secret without their permission is a big betrayal. Every other sentence that Harlow says has some kind of sarcastic undertone. She is the witty type and is always ready with a semi-rude quip or snappy remark.

Friends often label Harlow as a pessimist however she sees herself as more of a realist. She prefers to looking at the world for how it is instead of how she wants it to be as she believes in can be dangerous to live in blissful ignorance or take a overly optimistic stance. She sees being a realist as a healthy balance between both. There are times where Hai Rong can be overly blunt, where she just says things without necessarily thinking about the person on the other end of the comment. She can also come across as intimidating due to her closed off nature but really she just finds it difficult to socialise a lot of the time. Hai Rong is quick-witted and can easily think on the spot and talk her way out of seemingly impossible situations.


 ✧　 .. ˚ #BACKGROUND: Hai Rong was born in Tianjin, China but grew up in London, England. His parents were on really bad terms with their family and decided they just wanted a fresh start after Hai Rong was born and that was the main reason why they moved to London. Her mother worked as a crime scene cleaner and her father, a vet. This meant that they had a steady income and were able to live comfortably.

Hai Rong lived an average life, nothing spectacular happening in her life. She had a tough time in school though since she struggled to concentrate and was often told off for disrupting the people on her table. Hai Rong had a couple of close friends but she generally spent most of her time at home. It was when she was about 14 (almost 15) that she noticed something was different about her. She felt hot all the time and this was the same for her room; even in the dead of winter, she would have to walk around in shorts and a t-shirt because she could not stand the heat. Her parents took her to see specialists but could not find anything wrong with her. Everything got worse though when one day, Hai Rong's hand seemingly became engulfed by flames but she quickly came to realise that instead of her hands being covered by flames, they were the flames and this freaked her out. She started screaming and sobbing as her parents ran in to her on the floor of her bedroom, burn marks all over the place and her in the middle of it all rocking back and fourth keeping her left hand as far away from her as possible. After explaining what happened, her parents took her to see another specialist where she was directed to another institution; the boarding school owned by Norman Knoxville.

 ✧　 .. ˚ #HOW WELL DO THEY DO WITH THEIR POWER?: At this point, Hai Rong is one of the weakest. Signs of her power only started showing at the age of 14. She is only able to embody fire within her hands as she has the most control over them but she really struggles with the rest of her body. She can only do this for a limited amount of time since due to the lack of control she has over her power, it can cause her to overheat.

1) Hai Rong is obsessed with watching WWF and WWE from the 80s, 90s and early 2000s. Her favourite wrestlers are The Undertaker, Randy Orton, Stone Cold, Mankind, Bret Hart and Triple H. She also really loves the D Generation X stable.
2) Hai Rong has a pet snake called Zilla.
3) Hai Rong is lactose intolerant.
4) One of her favourite songs of all time is Maneater by Hall & Oates. Another one is Every breath you take by The Police despite its very creepy undertones.
5) She has a huge sweet tooth.
6) She has been playing volleyball since she was 11. Her main position is as a libero.
