When on a variety show two cast members had to sleep outside , as a punishment, he prepared food for them. He didn’t have too but he made sure he put in all his efforts into it. He is usually the one who cooks for everyone.
Jiawei makes a lot of dad jokes on a daily basis and tries to make the situations lighter. He has  said that he has his dark side too and that he only wants to lighten situations which is why he made a joke then, not knowing that his friend was upset.
In short, Jiawei is a person who cares a lot about his members and wouldn’t want to let them down in any way. Not to mention, he is funny, cute, hot and can hit high notes like the back of his palm.
