Omake 1.1 Wind vs Wings

A fierce gust breaks windows and blows against a roller-skating girl. "Why in my pajamas?" She complains.

"What's the world's only Cardcaptor saying?"

"I can't catch something that huge!" She complains again, seeing the source of the gusts.

"Why are ya actin so wimpy?"

Another gust of wind interrupts their argument, blowing the girl into the air and dazing her. Only her flying mascot stops her from hitting the ground painfully.

"Sakura! Your magic!"

"Eh?"

"The key! Do as I told you earlier!"

The girl takes out a small key and starts the incantation, "The key which hides powers of the Dark! Show your true powers before me! I, Sakura, command you under our contract. RELEASE!" A magic circle appears beneathe the girl's feet and her key grows in size to a staff.

"Alright, Sakura. The FLY card is attributed to wind. You should be able to capture it with the WINDY card you have now."

"Are you sure?"

"In any case, we have to get closer."

The giant green bird swoops at the duo and barely misses them.

"What should I do? It's flying straight at me!"

"Sakura, the WINDY card!"

"Y-yeah."

"Crap, here it comes!"

The bird swoops down and once more barely misses them.

"Use the WINDY card! Hurry!"

"I can't like this!" Sakura skates down the street, fleeing from the giant bird chasing after her.

"The point of being the Cardcaptor is to figure out stuff like this!"

"Something... I might be able to do something."

"Whatcha gonna do?"

The girl skates up the side of the retaining wall and flips onto the bird's back.

"Sakura!"

Hanging on for dear life, the bluenette invokes, "Wind, become a binding chain." She throws the card forward and strikes it with the beak of her staff as it come flying back, "WINDY!"

Windy is released from her card and entangles the giant bird, forcing it to land.

Sakura jumps back onto solid ground and commands, "Return to the form you originally came from, CLOW CARD!" She strikes the bird with the beak of her staff and it's absorbed back into a Clow card.

"Nice job Sakura!"

The brunette starts crying, "I thought I was gonna die!"

The flying teddy bear pats her on the head, "Nothing less from the Cardcaptor that I scouted."

"But I never said I would!"
