“You speak the truth,” answered Merlin.

“Now tell me, then,” said Blaise, “how can a wolf overpower a lion?”

“You will learn no more right now,” answered Merlin, “but I’ll tell you this much: this prophecy befalls me, and I know very well that I cannot keep myself from it.”
