Backstory: Ella can best be described as bold, enthusiastically loyal, vigilant, protective, and sincere to a fault. When she has a friend or group or cause to stand by she dedicates herself completely to her task. Which is probably why she took it so hard when she was abandoned by her Ayakashi brethren.

Already somewhat of an outcast as a result of her strange origin(born from a flower field that fed off the corpse of a noble dragon), her complete disregard for the rules of the masquerade and refusal to hide her nature from human eyes led to them considering her a liability and she was chased away.

Eventually she found a new home and family within Neverland, and a new ideal to dedicate herself in the form of the Society of True Teachings. When the new Holy Mother Mu declared Ayakashi in equal standing to humans Ella had never felt so validated and decided she would follow Mu's teachings. She doesn't really understand a lot of the details of the religion quite yet beyond 'be a good person' but what she lacks in knowledge she makes up for in dedication and earnestness.
