  1. Hello its Kinoshita Yuka
  2. do you all know what my favorite thing is? I love mochi (sweet rice pounded into cakes) today I will be making a pancake out of soft chewy mochi!
  3. first we will start with the molds. cut up some milk cartons and staple them together to form your shape
  4. done. the size is up to you and how big you want yours to be
  5. cut your mochi into 1 cm pieces
  6. looking like this and onto that you pour 280ml of milk and toss into the microwave for about 5 minutes
  7. waaa. it made it look like this. quickly stir the mixture
  8. take 400grams of pancake mix and add the mixture in 2 pours. quickly mix the ingredients
  9. oh its starting to look more like a milk senbei
  10. whoa its super doughy add 200g of yogurt 2 eggs 2 teaspoons of vinegar and mix with cutting motions
  11. in the molds we made earlier set in some parchment paper and in this we will make the hotcakes put a lid on this and leave it for about 20-25 minutes
  12. lets take a look voila... well I already flipped it once and if it doesnt stick to a toothpick you know its done it looks good and it fluffed up nicely
  13. to be honest I already made 1 already and I will put this on top of the other top it with butter and sprinkle with sugar and add jam
  14. ITS DONE!!!!
  15. alright lets eat!!
  16. it came out so thick!
  17. alright its time to eat!!!
  18. itadakimasu
  19. its sooo thick when you use a mold it comes out so nicely
  20. oh I made it on low heat but it cooked nicely
  21. its nice and dense
  22. its absolutely nice and chewy/doughy yet still fluffy at the same time OISHI
  23. look its so dense and doughy/chewy
  24. forgot to mention I used 400g of pancake mix and you can make 1 from a package of mix
  25. well I made one prior and umm...... it didn't come out so well kinda burnt it because I didn't know how much heat I needed to cook it on.... its so difficult when making things this thick
  26. the inside is perfect and it doesn't taste burnt.... well that much lol
  27. look its so thick and doughy
  28. the last bite!
  29. mm.... *mumble mumble* <oshigatta???>
  30. GOCHISOSAMADESHITA! it was ABSOLUTELY TOTALLY delicous this is the thickest pancake I've ever made... well I guess that is thanks to making the molds for it before but the center of these pancakes were so doughy/chewy and delicous and since I added mochi to the mix it feels more filling
  31. it was absolutely delicous.... if a person like me can make it anyone can make it lol please please give it a try
