- This will be just some notes/tips on the best way to duel each character in game.
- - Putting how DP is gained at the end of duels here, don't know a better place. Perhaps in main notes mention the easiest ways to gain DP, if a certain method proves to be easy/abusable it could be helpful. - Draw?
- Lose - /10 [total points reduced to 10%]
- - If you can, it's good to Tribute Summon, 80 more for each
- - If it doesn't feel too slow, feel free to play out all your spells and traps, you get more points for each. On the flip side, there's bonuses for no Special Summons, and no traps as well.
- - Low LP bonus seems good if you have Solemn Judgment, or take a bunch of damage early on. Dark Elf could potentially help with this but it seems risky and probably slower more often than not, 500 LP (?) would be the goal
- - You get 100 more for getting them to exactly 0. So if the extra damage you would do is less than 1000, then try to be exact.
- Kuriboh
- - For this, add in Nobleman of Extermination over a 2nd DT?
- - Attack sets with larger ATK cards, as he can set stuff like Giant Soldier of Stone
- - The AI will tribute a monster to topdeck Axe of Despair
- Watapon
- - Put in 2nd DT, take out Nobleman if necessary. Hold on to s/t removal (DT, MST, Heavy) for Snatch Steal, Wall of Revealing Light, etc.
- - Runs 7 Tools, so using traps on their End Phase is beneficial
- - This deck runs a few tribute monsters, so if you give them turns, you might see them summon beatsticks like Airknight Parsath, Silent Swordsman Lv. 5, and Zaborg.
- - Likes to Nobleman all your shit
- Pikeru
- - Try to pop s/t at the end phase because Scapegoat is annoying
- - Ryu Kokki's effect allows you to pop Warriors and Spellcasters in battle. So it can destroy Unhappy Girl (the 400 ATK thing) after battle with its effect. Unhappy Girl never gets put in DEF position
- - Must think of ways to play around Injection Fairy Lily. Does get destroyed with Ryu Kokki effect.
- Scapegoat
- - Put in all copies of DT over Nobleman of Extermination and Cold Wave (take out Tri-Horned, no need to fuck around here)
- - Set monsters will likely be Sangan, Cat of Ill Omen, and Mask of Darkness
- - Using Creature Swap on Reaper in the middle of duels is viable, since it has no effect with Skill Drain on field.
- - If he doesn't use certain sets for a while, consider Judgment of Anubis
- - Hesitated to put in dropped effect monsters here, such as Spirit Reaper, decided to wait for Skull Servant
- - With Pyramid Turtle, go for Ryu Kokki more often, since Vampire Lord can easily be destroyed by battle
- Skull Servant
- - Add in cards like Swarm of Locusts, Swarm of Scarabs, Sasuke Samurai, Magician of Faith, Mask of Darkness, anything to get an advantage. Take out Despair, (Helpoemer), 1-2 Call of the Mummy, maybe Sakaretsu and Tutan Mask (Rope of Life).
- - Usually gets Goblin Zombie with Mystic Tomato
- - Be patient. Hold on to removal specifically for Gravity Bind and Level Limit Area - B
- Ojama Yellow
- - Play similarly as you did vs Skull. Runs more annoying monsters.
- - Has cards that will block your card zones, so have to be careful in how you play sometimes
- Des Frog
- - Take out most of the stuff you added for the 2 prior troll characters. So:
- - Swarm cards, Sasuke, 1-2 DT's depending on preference
- - Add back in Cold Wave, prolly not Call of the Mummy? Test
- - Hopefully you have good drops to put in. If you need to, put back in Sasuke, Luster, Tutan Mask, etc. Kept stuff like Robbin Goblin in longer
- - Runs Penguin stuff to troll you
- Batteryman
- - Cyber Dragon is a card.
- - Runs Snatch Steal and Shrink, Sakaretsu
- - The strongest combo I've seen is Battery Charger + Inferno Reckless Summon to get 3 Batteryman AA at 3000 ATK each.
- - Gyroid can waste some time
- Water Dragon
- - Giga Gagagigo naturally climbs over all your stuff, A Legendary Ocean enables it easily
- - This deck runs stuff like Abyss Soldier and Tribe-Infecting Virus, and Bottomless Trap Hole, so it has outs to your tribute monsters
- - Watch out for Hydrogeddon in spots
- Goblin King
- - Dark Ruler Ha Des might be the strongest card he could play against you, stopping Turtle effect is a killer.
- - Call of Dark Ruler is another annoying one, he'll always pay enough life to bring your monster down to 0.
- - Goblin Elite Attack Force is one of the common big beaters, but it often doesn't attack, since the AI doesn't want it in DEF position
- - Runs Magic Drain
- - Sets could very often be Giant Germ
- - Dark Necrofear can steal one of your monsters when destroyed. A sick play is to chain Book of Moon to its target, so its effect disappears!
