BACKGROUND ┊ aurora was the second born child to a korean couple who had met in australia. her father was born in korea, but had lived in australia for most of his life, and that was where he met aurora's mother, who travelled their during her university years. both of them were lovers of children, with him being a teacher, and her being a childcare worker, and they ended up giving birth to a total of four children. growing up, she was closest to her younger sister, who aurora felt the most protective over, since she was the youngest out of all four of them. she also took an interest to american tv shows (she started off with disney, then moved on to other things, like teen wolf, pretty little liars etc.), which is one of the few interests she has. she had a pretty average school life, and was always pushed to do her best, especially by her father who was a high school teacher himself. her grades were slightly above average because of this, but they weren't the top of the class (something that aurora knew her father was disappointed about). she later moved back to korea when she was fifteen, after her father had been offered a job in his home country, and moved the whole family. aurora had to switch schools, and first struggled, because she wasn't very good at reading or writing in korean, only being able to speak and understand it, having grown up learning english at school in australia, and only speaking korean at home. she later graduated from high school and moved on to college, where she started studying history, which was the one subject that she actually enjoyed.

PERSONALITY ┊ in one word, aurora could be described as lazy, and she is probably the most lazy person you will ever meet. she absolutely hates any form of exercise, and can often be too lazy to get up and get the tv remote from the other side of the room. she doesn't like waking up early, and you are very likely to get an earful of whining from her because of it. the only thing that can bring her out of bed before noon is bubble tea, and even then she'll still be very picky. she is always tired, which is mostly because she often stays up late to watch k dramas and american tv shows instead of sleeping, and gets annoyed if she can't watch something that she wants to. she does prefer to stay cooped up in her room surrounded by her fluffy pillows, reading or binge watching something. she has a photographic memory, which is how she manages to get above average grades, when she absolutely hates studying for any subject that isn't history, and she's often on the verge of falling asleep in class. her father is very happy by this though, and believe that she should be using her mind to do bigger things than just memorise people and dates in history. she has a habit of just disappearing, then turning up out of nowhere a few hours later. she likes to refer to herself as invisible, because no one can ever seem to find her when she doesn't want to be found. she is usually known for her grumpy muttering (which usually only lasts until three in the afternoon which is her definition of 'morning'), and her snide remarks, which are mostly made in english. she is not the most fashionable person you will ever meet, but she does sometimes let her friends use her as a human doll. she absolutely hates studying for anything (except history), but she doesn't want to fail her classes. people often think she'd be the type of person to not care about school or grades, but they're actually surprised to find that her history classes are some of her top priorities.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS ┊ they first met at the bubble tea store that aurora worked at. it happened to be when they were very short on staff, and she was busy stressing over a test she had the next day (because even though she had a good memory, she was still scared of forgetting something important, and because she'd spent the past week watching tv shows instead of studying), all while trying to serve customers. he was there to buy bubble tea, and aurora accidentally knocked into him (luckily, she hadn't been carrying anything, otherwise she would've spilt it all over him). she didn't get a chance to apologise, because one of the other workers was pulling her up and telling her to hurry at serve people before they got impatient. even worse than that, only five minutes later did she have to go back and give him his order, which she'd accidentally gotten mixed up because she was too busy trying to remember all of adolf hitlers henchmen from World War II. she was very embarrassed, and quickly apologised before hurrying back to get him his right order (and earning herself a scolding by the other worker who was on duty).

    » aurora's first impression of him was "oh god i just knocked into him and i didn't get to say sorry. wait what was the name of that concentration camp again?" because she was sort of muddled and disorientated for a moment, and still trying to silently revise for everything.
    » his first impression was probably something along the lines of "she just crashed into me. is that my fault does she hate me now?" because he would be very confused as to why she just suddenly ran off, and then returned with the wrong order. however, he'd still find her cute.

HOW SHE ACTS AROUND HIM ┊ aurora's sort of awkward the beginning because a) she crashed into him at the bubble tea store, and b) she knows nothing about guys outside of a tv screen. she has no experience whatsoever with the opposite sex, mostly because she spends most of her free time binge watching tv shows or reading instead of socialising with people. however, towards the middle she kind of stop being so awkward, because he is just always there, and he's sort of her friend so basically she just treats him the same way she treats her group of friends, and often starts obsessing and fangirling over fictional characters with him, even though most of the time he has no idea what she's talking about. towards the end, she kind of goes back to being awkward for a bit, because she kind of sort of likes him, and then silently freaks out because she doesn't know what to do about it.

HOW HE ACTS AROUND HER ┊ he's kind of just his normal happy and adorable self, because despite what she thinks, he isn't pissed off at her for crashing into him and then being pulled away without apologising. he finds her cute, and tries to get her to open up a bit more and break through her shy exterior. towards the middle, he sort of tones down his extra happy personality, because he doesn't want to put her off, now that he's finally gotten her to open up to him. at the end, he knows that he kind of likes her, but is completely oblivious to her sudden awkwardness again, and when he does finally realise it, he thinks he's scared her off, which leads to him being sulky to his members, who tell him to grow a pair and ask her out.

    » aurora spreading out all of her fluffy pillows across the couch in the living room because it is really cold in her bedroom and she can't study in the cold, and then all of her friends get pissed off, and end up stealing all of her pillows, which ends in a pillow fight.
