  1. - Character Build Guide -
  2.
  3. Builds in Soul Elysium can be as unique as you make them. You have a maximum of 212 Experience Points to make the most out of your build.
  4. You want the right combinations of traits and invested character passive that fits your character. Remeber to click a specific character
  5. passive or trait to read its description and see what they do. To see the FULL LIST of possible TRAITS click the locked icon in character build.
  6. After getting the requirements for a trait you must click it and spend Exp Points to purchase the trait so it can take into effect. When making
  7. your builds make sure your basic necessities in Character Build are maxed, Initial Max Damage and Inital Max Defense.
  8.
  9. Initial Max Damage: For Strength based melee is 25 in Physical damage. And for Reiatsu based attacks: 25 in Blast Damage and
  10. 25 in Armor Piercing. And for Defense atleast 25 in Physical Defense and 25 Blast Def.
  11. Those stats are generally the basic stats that must ATLEAST be maxed if you want to deal or take damage. (This does not mean this is all you need
  12. in those stats, as either Combo Damages and Crit Damage can further improves your attacks.)
  13.
  14. Here are some suggested builds for various characters:
  15.
  16. Super Tank (Primarily Str Melee Users): Start Off Maxing: Phys Dmg > Phys Def & Blast Def
  17. Strength: P-Dmg=25 | CO-Dmg=5 | CR-Dmg=25 | CR-Chnc=25
  18. Defense: P-Def=25 | ST-Inc=25 | BO-MI=25 | CR-Def=5
  19. Reiatsu: B-Dmg=0 | ADD-Pu=0 | AMR-Prc=0 | RCO-Dmg=0
  20. Reiryoku: B-Def=25 | REI-Cap=10 | REI-Reg=11 | F-Spir=0
  21. Leftover Experience Points: 6
  22. Possible Traits: Adaptive Defense, Critical Resistance, Sword & Shield, Deep Breath, Masochist, Bleeding, Shockwave, Phase
  23.
  24. This build works for players/release that want to focus only on melee and str based attacks and maximize trait potential. Leftover Exp Points allow
  25. you to purchase up to 4 traits. Coupled with the Adaptive Defense, Critical Resistance, Phase or Sword & Shield trait, it makes you be able
  26. to take many hits and be a Melee King. I would recommend atleast purchasing Adaptive Defense and Deep Breath Trait.
  27.
  28. _______________________________________________________________________
  29. All Out Blitz (Str and Rei Users): Start Off Maxing Phys Dmg > Blast Dmg > Phys Def & Blast Def
  30. Strength: P-Dmg=25 | CO-Dmg=25 | CR-Dmg=0 | CR-Chnc=0
  31. Defense: P-Def=25 | ST-Inc=25 | BO-MI=0 | CR-Def=0
  32. Reiatsu: B-Dmg=25 | ADD-Pu=0 | AMR-Prc=25 | RCO-Dmg=10
  33. Reiryoku: B-Def=25 | REI-Cap=0 | REI-Reg=25 | F-Spir=0
  34. Leftover Experience Points: 2
  35. Possible Traits: Combo King, Bleeding, Shockwave
  36.
  37. This build works for players/releases who like to mix it and put some pressure my constantly meleeing and shooting projectiles. Purchase the combo king
  38. trait. Combo King maximizes your offense. Maximizing Reir Regen also allows your character to use energy release longer as you will
  39. most likey be draining from using your techniques.
  40.
  41. ________________________________________________________________________
  42. Reiatsu Whores (Rei Melee Users): Start Off Maxing Blast Dmg > Phys Def> Armor Piercing > Blast Def > Reir Regen
  43. Strength: P-Dmg=0 | CO-Dmg=0 | CR-Dmg=25 | CR-Chnc=25
  44. Defense: P-Def=25 | ST-Inc=25 | BO-MI=0 | CR-Def=0
  45. Reiatsu: B-Dmg=25 | ADD-Pu=0 | AMR-Prc=25 | RCO-Dmg=0
  46. Reiryoku: B-Def=25 | REI-Cap=0 | REI-Reg=25 | F-Spir=0
  47. Leftover Experience Points: 12
  48. Possible Traits: Energy Collider, Silent Steps, Sword & Shield, Bleeding, Shockwave
  49.
  50. This is for Reiatsu Melee Users. You utilize Silent Steps trait to Ninja around your opponent every now and then. Energy Collider helps maximize your melee
  51. damage output. After purchasing any traits you like. Use any remaining exp points in either Combo damage or Blast Combo.
  52.
  53. ________________________________________________________________________
  54. Snipers (Support/Non-Meleers): Start Off Maxing Blast Dmg > Armor Piercing > Phys Def & Blast Def > Reir Regen
  55. Strength: P-Dmg=0 | CO-Dmg=0 | CR-Dmg=0 | CR-Chnc=0
  56. Defense: P-Def=25 | ST-Inc=25 | BO-MI=0 | CR-Def=0
  57. Reiatsu: B-Dmg=25 | ADD-Pu=1 | AMR-Prc=25 | RCO-Dmg=25
  58. Reiryoku: B-Def=25 | REI-Cap=5 | REI-Reg=25 | F-Spir=25
  59. Leftover Experience Points: 6
  60. Possible Traits: Wall of Pressure, Energy Assimilation, Blessed Energy, Sharp Shooter, Hawk Eye, Reserve
  61.
  62. This build is obviously for people who like to keep their distance. You also probably have the utmost confidence in you projectile aim when using this build
  63. or you have a spammable projectile. This is good if you're a Spell Spec or any release with Reiatsu techniqies but you don't want to melee. This build allows
  64. you to just stay back and provide cover fire for your teammates while they are fighting an enemy. Just sniping people from a far. Your projectiles will absorb
  65. others when clashing due to Energy Assimilation and will never get phased thanks to Sharp Shooter. And if you want you can purchase Wall Pressure trait, it
  66. gives you a little tanky feel. This build can work for Inoues or anyone who wants to focus on healing others, support, and survivability. Blessed Energy makes
  67. you last longer as you heal yourself when you heal teammates. You keep your opponents away by relying on your fairies and spells. Reserve trait is essential
  68. to help make sure you have enough reiryoku to use techniques.
  69.
  70. ________________________________________________________________________
  71.
  72. Once again builds are unique to your character and you can twist and tweak the suggested builds above. Builds don't have to be release dependant,
  73. an Inoue can rely on melee and use combo king. Release with only Strength based techniques can still invest into blast damage to utilize spells
  74. and that's fine. It's all up to you. You can ask people for advice as well. Think before investing, and if you want a specific trait invest into
  75. the character passives regardless of what your race/release is based on.
