BACKGROUND : chaerin had a rather normal childhood for the most part. she was born in ilsan, south korea, as the youngest of a family of five and moved to the united states a couple days after her eighth birthday. even as a child she’d always been interested in music. she took several classes such as music theory and composition; participated in music ensembles in school and in her state; and basically did everything she could to enhance both her knowledge and love for music. she wasn’t much of singer - which bummed her out to begin with since she always thought singing was rather fun - but was pleasantly surprised to find that she had a natural talent for rap. soon she was composing her own songs, rapping her own lyrics, and performing for small crowds around her town. she moved back to korea after graduating high school, hoping to find a career in music there.

PERSONALITY : chaerin is generally a pretty happy-go-lucky girl whose bright smile could easily rival the sun. she’s incredibly friendly and animated, and her energy spreads to everyone in the room. she’s easily excitable and can get a little carried away sometimes with how much she hypes everything and everyone up, though she usually has good intentions. she’s an absolute dork and constantly makes stupid dad jokes and puns that wouldn’t normally be funny, but her delivery and excitement will get you every time. she loves making people smile and is the best person to go to if you need someone to cheer you up.
