- Darius:
- Hey, what's this two-bit nonsense you're pushing on everyone?
- Ty:
- Pardon?
- Darius:
- You're that mercenary saying he fights for justice and all that?
- Ty:
- Why, yes, I am!
- Darius:
- Well, we got a problem here, buddy. That's MY act. I'm the wandering fabulous hero who saves the day, not you!
- Ty:
- Then you are an ally of Justice as well? That's... That's wonderful!
- Darius:
- Is your head stuck up your ass that much? You listening to me?
- Ty:
- Oh, good sir. I'm sorry, but I can hardly contain my excitement! I do not mean to impose. But I can understand your frustration. There are many frauds out there, who claim to be virtuous men... But all they do is do degenerate acts while hiding behind a noble front.
- Darius:
- ... Yeah, those guys suck.
- Ty:
- But I assure you, I am much like you; the genuine article.
- Darius:
- Ah huh...
- Ty:
- What say we work together? I will prove myself to you in battle.
- Darius:
- Working with other guys is a waste of time and boring.
- Ty:
- Is that what you think? Well, keep on eye on me from time to time. You will see this spear delivers true Justice!
- Darius:
- Actually, I was saying I'd rather work with a pretty girl. But okay. Do what you want, whacko.

- Darius:
- Hey, chill out for a second, Ty. Your face is as red as your armor.
- Ty:
- Y-Yes, I suppose you're right. Thank you, my friend. Sometimes I lose myself in battle, and don't know when to stop.
- Darius:
- For a righteous fellow, you sure are bloodthirsty.
- Ty:
- It is a side of me I am not proud of. I've always had... a lust for slaughter. If it had not been for the teaching of my dear older sister, I would not have any sort of morality, and be nothing but a beast...
- Darius:
- So you've got an older sister, huh?
- Ty:
- Stoicism... Piety... Justice... All that is righteous that I know is from her. But no matter how hard I try, my evil desires never fade away. I'm afraid to say I am not as virtuous as you are, Darius.
- Darius:
- Hey, I'm far from virtuous, man. I just fight to get girls. But hey, we're kind of the same in that regard, yeah? What drives us ain't the
- most pure of desires. But who can argue we aren't making the world a better place?
- Ty:
- Darius... Yes, that is how I feel as well. The both of us have beasts inside ourselves, but we use that power for the greater good.
- Darius:
- Gotta have some evil in you to get good things done.
- ///A
- Ty:
- All men and women have twisted desires, large and small. The people we have fought and killed day after day... Do you ever wonder if they could have been allies?
- Darius:
- Eh, I dunno. Some people are just stupid. I'm sure some of these guys have good reasons. Others just are caught up in the moment with no real direction. That's another thing we have in common, Ty.
- Ty:
- Hmm?
- Darius:
- I didn't want to bring it up then, but you said your sister is the reason why you're... you. Same can be said for me. I had an older sister too. She's the reason I'm the man I am today as well.
- Ty:
- We are truly indeed kindred men, Darius.
- Darius:
- Hmph, never thought I'd get this close to another guy in my life...
- Ty:
- Our souls have found salvation because of someone else. And you said it yourself, too many people lack direction. Why not attempt to save these souls? Guide them down the right path?
- Darius:
- Hey, I'm not becoming a priest and looking after kids with you.
- Ty:
- That's not what I'm suggesting. I'm thinking of something more our element. A mercenary company. A place men who are born to fight can belong.
- Darius:
- Hmm...
- Ty:
- We will fight, but also give these brigands purpose. A more noble way of life on the battlefield.
- Darius:
- Sounds a bit lofty. Might make us famous though...
- Ty:
- It may very well. And rightfully so. But suppose I pursue this... Would you aid me?
- Darius:
- Hmm... Hmmm... I'll give it some thought. It's not a bad idea. And working with you surprisingly has been cool so far. Ask me again after the war's over.
- Ty:
- Very well.
