  1. CHARACTER
  2.
  3. Name: Tiger 'Glitch' Ricky
  4. Age: 24
  5. Gender: Female
  6. Species: Human
  7. Occupation: "Entrepreneur". She hangs about in a factory and seems to be tinkering with bits and bobs about the place, but nobody can tell if she's actually doing anything, and she frequently stops what she's doing to go harrass her coworkers and steal their lunches (or sometimes just to find a warm corner for a nap).
  8.
  9. Personality: Glitch is a loudmouthed, stubborn, food-motivated glutton who knows no fear and will stop at nothing to achieve her goals. Utterly shameless, and having no time for silly things such as 'decorum', she instead wears her heart in all its messy, scruffy, ragtag glory, all while staring anyone who would tell her otherwise dead in the eyes. Many people interpret this stubbornness as stupidity, and as a result, they are surprised when she busts out a sneaky trick to get her way, which is usualy either attention, revenge, or food. She has a keen intuition for the feelings of those around her, and as a result she picks favourites quickly, and makes her dislike of others well-known (though her bark is always much worse than her bite; instead, she typically resorts to rather petty acts of spite when offended). But she is just as eager when expressing love to her loved ones, shouting excitedly when she sees them, and running over to give them a huge hug, or perhaps just to roughhouse with them, which never goes wrong, ever, at all, not in the slightest. She is unabashed in her affections, quick to forgive any slights, and readily overlook any flaws, for as long as her loud voice is listened to.
  10.
  11. Bio: I'll go into this one in more detail later, but what I know for now: Glitch inherited her Stand from her family bloodline, but was abandoned (or orphaned?) after receiving a traumatic head injury which gave her brain damage - as a result of this accident, she is only able to see vague, blurry shapes, and experiences some issues with balance and co-ordination. In the immediate aftermath, she became timid and withdrawn, but slowly came out of her shell once she had been welcomed into a new home, and has since become the bold, outspoken person she is today.
  12.
  13. Physical Description: Glitch has tanned skin and a messy tangle of dark brown hair, cropped shorter on one side and left to grow long on the other. She has two studs in her nose, huge golden earrings to match her oversized ears, and a black tattoo around one of her greyish-green eyes (which are typically rimmed with thick, slapdash make-up; clumpy black mascara and golden eyeshadow). Freckles are sprayed across her cheeks, and are usually accompanied by small scuffs of dirt or scratchmarks which she hasn't bothered to clear up properly. She usually wears a faded brown tank-top, sturdy cream denim shorts, a leather utility belt, fingerless gloves, and battered boots that were probably once white. She doesn't like wearing jackets or generally covering up (the texture bothers her), but she then complains loudly about the cold, and frequently bundles up in blankets against the nearest source of heat she can find (usually either a generator, a fire, or a person). She also carries a white cane, which is only used for its intended purpose about 25% of the time.
  14.
  15. Equipment: A strip of beef jerky, an unreasonably large canteen of water, bronze spiked knuckles, three slightly different penknives (one of them is permanently jammed to the corkscrew), a small toolkit missing two of the screwdriver heads, a pocket full of minor knickknacks she picked up and promptly forgot about*, a pack of lego bricks, a half-used box of matches, loose pennies, a stick of mascara, a pallate of eyeshadow, a tacky plastic hand mirror that she can't see herself in, and a lightweight collapsible white cane.
  16.
  17. *Mechanically speaking, this 'pocket of knickknacks' is used to aid generic macguyvering, not for pulling specific parts. Glitch is likely to have something thin and stringlike to tie two things together, or a small metal object that could be used as a connecor in an electrical circuit, or something rounded that could hypothetically hold water in a pinch, and so on; she is unlikely to have a springloaded mechanism for assembling a gun, or a spare mobile phone, or a bottle of perfume that reminds her opponent of what his mother used to smell like. Basically, ti's for macguvers, not macguffins.

  21. Character Stats
  22.
  23. [14-17]
  24.
  25. Strength - 1 (Minor brain damage has affected Glitch's physical strength, and she is unable to pack much punch - though she does have surprisingl good grip strength with her fingers. Her diminutive stature doesn't help her case, though it does make it easier to wriggle her way out of a tight spot.)
  26.
  27. Agility - 3 (Though her coordination is also notably affected by her brain damage, Glitch was agile to begin with, and she has adopted alternative - if often odd-looking - ways of getting about the place. She is a very fast runner when moving in a straight line, and though she often loses balance when turning, she has learned how to use a pole she carries with her to spin herself quickly about sharp corners. She is also a nimble climber, and is famed for her contortionism, habitually twisting at bizarre angles and settling comfortably on perches that should be precarious.)
  28.
  29. Endurance - 3 (Glitch is often falling over, running into things, or otherwise collecting a wide array of bumps and bruises; by this point they no longer seem to faze her. She has high pain tolerance, and can work well around serious injuries if she has to (though she'd much rather hunker down in a warm corner with a blanket, grumbling loudly).
  30.
  31. Macguyvering - 3 (Glitch is an ingenuous soul who has learned how to find workarounds for most unexpected setbacks. She is good at scavenging materials from unlikely places, and can fashion contraptions or provide temporary repairs even with only limited resources. Even where resources are plentiful, she is good at coming up with quicker/easier/less costly solutions - though they might not be as reliable as a job done properly.)
  32.
  33. Hearing - 4 (Glitch's hearing has always been excellent, and since losing some of her sight to the brain injury, she has had to rely much more heavily on auditory information - over time she has learned how to distinguish between multiple overlapping sounds, and quickly identifies sounds she knows well, as well as being able to discern proximity, direction, texture, and other similar details which she can quickly cross-reference with other relevant context clues. She is especially notorious for being able to hear food packaging from a mile off; no-one knows how she is able to tell the difference between a crisp packet and any other sort of rustling.)

  37. STAND
  38.
  39.
  40. Stand Name: Vida Loca
  41.
  42. Stand Type: Close range power
  43.
  44. Stand Appearance: An enormous brown and white tabby cat with huge batlike ears and tawny rims about its large, owlish green eyes (which are always dilated even in the bright sunlight). Scruffy appearance; short fur is naturally spiky, particularly on the chest and tail, one whisker is crooked, and has a snaggle tooth. Legs are long and spidery, and it moves with an uncanny gait as it prowls about Glitch, staring down the opponent unblinkingly.
  45.
  46. Basic Stat Reference:
  47.
  48.
  49. Power: [B]. Vida Loca has viciously sharp claws for melee combat, which can score devastating gashes through their opponents (though of course they are unable to hold objects with anything but their teeth). As for their Stand Powers, they are able to create brutal tremors, enough to shake the earth in their immediate vicinity.
  50.
  51. Speed: [C]. Vida Loca themselves is nimble and agile in the small space that they are able to fill (see: range). They can very quickly throw out a generic wave of vibration, but anything more specific will require some time and focus to accomplish. Where they are called on to do something particularly complex, it is usually best if they have had time beforehand to truly perfect the maneuver.
  52.
  53. Durability: [C]. Vida Loca's dense layer fur serves as a simple barrier against physical harm, and much like Glitch, they possess a high pain tolerance that lets them shrug off minor wounds (they also usually land on their feet, and tend to not take much damage from their environment). However, though they are naturally bulkier than a normal human, they are not superhumanly durable.
  54.
  55. Range: [C]. There are three aspects to Vida Loca's range. Firstly, they themselves can only move up to 5 metres from Glitch, and this sphere is where they are able to exert the most finely-tuned control (it is at this range that their forcefield ability is most effective). Within 6-20 metres, however, they are still able to apply generic blanket effects (e.g. amplifying or deadening sound, creating an earthquake, etc.), and though they cannot create vibrations beyond this range, the vibrations already created will continue to perpetuate - though they quickly lose power without a force behind them, they can nonetheless carry for quite some distance depending on the amplitude of the wave and the substance they are travelling through.
  56.
  57. Precision: [B]. Though the exact precision depends on multiple factors such as the range (see above) and the complexity of the task, Vida Loca is able to operate with good precision (expanded on at great length in the section below because I don't understand what a 'self-control' is). They are comfortably able to pinpoint the location of vibrating objects within their range, though when picking up outside vibrations coming in, they can only identify a generalized direction. Their precision notably decreases when focusing on multiple tasks at once.
  58.
  59.
  60. Stand Ability: Vida Loca's purr is able to create and manipulate vibrations in the area immediately around them.
  61.
  62. Stand Ability In Excruciating And Unnecessary Detail: On a technical level, Vida Loca can only create vibrations; however, matching vibrations can be used to amplify pre-existing vibrations, and opposing vibrations can be used to reduce them. This power has three main uses, plus any situational ones that should arise:
  63.
  64. Firstly it can be used for destructive potential, such as creating earthquakes, shattering brittle objects, or battering a foe. Conversely, it can also be used to nullify earthquakes, deaden vibrations before they shatter a brittle object, etc. etc.
  65. Secondly, it can be used to create, amplify, or quieten sound. This can range from a deafening roar to dead silence, though the dexterity is somewhat limited - recreating a uniform sound such as a fire, an engine, a horn, or even an explosion is reasonably within Vida Loca's capabilities, but anything more nuanced such as human speech poses a challenge. With some effort, basic words can be created, but they will be distorted and clearly inhuman in nature. Similar rules apply to adjusting the volume of noises; a uniform adjustment is easy, but independently tweaking different parts of a sound is going to be very challenging, unless the origin point of each sound sits within Vida Loca's immediate range (as they can then be altered from the source). Regardless of the technical accuracy that can be achieved, it is far easier for Vida Loca to recreate a sound they have encountered before (e.g. create a whistle that sounds like the factory kettle only louder/higher-pitched) than it is to invent a new one from scratch (e.g. create something that sounds like a cross between a baby crying and a donkey bray; these references points are helpful for imagining such a sound, but not for recreating that sound out of soundwaves).
  66.
  67. Thirdly, Vida Loca can create a forcefield of very fast vibrations in the surrounding air. This forcefield is most effective against projectiles. At its strongest, this forcefield can shatter bullets on impact (a la the following the following Mythbusters video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L4Y4GUmvPkU) - ironically enough, slower moving objects such as arrows and thrown weapons are better equipped to penetrate as they will not be destroyed on impact, but they may be slowed and have their course diverted, reducing precision. For better or for worse, this forcefield has the unavoidable effect of distorting any sound that passes through it in either direction. This forcefield has very little effect on things that are receiving continuous force, such as a car, or an object being pulled along by gravity.
  68.
  69. This power cannot be used to vibrate light waves, though its use does often create a slight shimmer in the air from the oscilating dust particles. Curiously, these powers cannot be used directly on a living person or animal - that is to say, though they might be injured by the shaking of the air and earth around them, vibrations cannot be sent through them to shatter bones or cause internal injuries (and the forcefield is also far less effective at stopping a living creature). When Vida Loca uses their Stand Power, thunderous cat purring fills the air, unless Vida Loca is specifically masking the sound.
  70.
  71. OTHER DATA
  72.
  73. Fighting Style: Glitch is adaptable and varied, and her strategy seems to be influenced as much by her mood on the day as it is by actual tactics. Most commonly she either sneaks about using Vida Loca's silencing abilities, or finds a defensible spot to hunker down in - but she has been known to ride recklessly into battle on Vida Loca's back and go for broke. In addition, though she always plans in advance, she isn't afraid to make deviations where needed or to scrap the whole damn thing if it doesnt work and improvise on the spot. This makes her seem rather feckless (perhaps deservedly so), but her strategies do have one common theme: she is usually using some form of misdirection to make her opponent focus on the wrong thing, which often works nicely with her bold and unpredictable tactics. Notably, Glitch herself tends not to fight (letting Vida Loca do most of the melee combat), but when she does she uses spiked knuckles, penknives, and quickly macguyvered traps - or in a pinch, whatever blunt force object she grabs first.
  74.
  75. Stand Oddities: Glitch experiences full damage from her stand; though she does not have a tail, Vida Loca's tail is curiously intangible to the touch, and so does not sustain damage regardless. Vida Loca does not seem to have their own intelligence, but can have a slightly different thought process from Glitch; essentially, they are like a second concurrent train of thought of hers separated into a different form. This train of thought does seem to experience its own emotions, but ultimately cannot do anything to independenly interpret the sensory input it receives - all of it routes back through Glitch herself, like the protagonist of a videogame requiring player input. Though Glitch herself has mostly blind, she can use Vida Loca's vision to significantly mitigate the problem.
