the woman next to her has more hair and an identical cardigan or wrap or something tucked between her waist and her forearm. her dress has a higher neckline and shorter sleeves. the front is pleated for about six inches, and the waist is cinched by a floral ribbon that matches the rest of the dress' material.
she looks to be wearing dark, sad clogs. her facial features are somewhat crowded into the center of her flesh canvas or whatever and she is giving a wry smile. her calves also lack definition. her dress is being blown by the wind.
the younger woman looks like she has just turned from looking at the older one and is standing to the older woman's left, a few inches backward and about seven away from the older woman's left shoulder. a young man is seated behind her with his arms wrapped loosely around his knees. his sleeves are rolled up past his elbows and he is squinting at the sunlight or the lens flare. One of his bent legs is situated directly behind those of the younger woman, his feet are larger, he is wearing white shoes, and a white band is wrapped around his lower leg about two inches above the ankle. he is wearing loose khaki shorts and a brown or black belt. his shirt is tucked into his pants and furls out around the space between the second rib and his hip bones, pulled taut over his shoulders and their corresponding strip of back. his collar, if he has one, is up. everyone in the photo is white. his hair is combed back over his skull in a puffy little wave, but sweat slicked pieces cast shade on his forehead from the right.
there are two more people who will not be described much, but one of them is wearing much shorter shorts and the other is in a uniform that could easily be militant and a black beret. his face looks hugely asymmetric.
the sand is marked in a scalloped, repeating pattern and smooth rocks are piled at the bottom of the miniature dune's equally miniature cliff.
