The three of them were not moving. However, nobody said that they had to keep moving. The three of them had come here because they were fleeing the goddess. This was not a simple flight. The implication was that they did not want to get in the way of Tepsekemei and Margarite. If 7753 and Mana ― neither of whom possessed much in the way of combat strength ― remained on the scene, they would simply handicap Margarite and Tepsekemei with the need to protect and support them. If that were the case, they would not be able to triumph even against an opponent they could have beaten. They had eagerly run away with the intention of helping them in battle.

The news that Tepsekemei’s double had been killed beggared belief, and it made them want to verify it. Even at a third of her original ability, Tepsekemei’s doubles could still wreak incredible destruction. Given Tepsekemei’s ability to sublimate into the air, Magical Girls, who were focused on physical attacks for the most part, should not be able to even touch her.
